Odd choice to undo the inner joint on the lower arm rather than the outer, both work I guess. I personally avoid undoing those eccentric camber adjustment bolts unless absolutely necessary. I have also never seen anyone ever use copper slip on a wheel hub like that, any reason why this technique? Seems like the risk of pad/disc contamination is greater than the (negligible?) risk of the wheel seizing on the hub to me.
Great job! I just watched it all. I can see you guys implemented all the suggestions made by the comments like Including torque specs. Great tips that are also good for GTI mk6 owners.
⚠ Attention! This video contains a mistake:
6:12 - the tightening torque is 130 Nm, not 90 Nm.
We're sorry for the inconvenience.

so good i"ve learnt something new as a mechanic
Great video.... now with toque settings
You forgot to tighten the lower shock bolt with the vehicle was on the ground or the shock bush is going to wear out very quick
Please specify the fragment time. The video shows how the lower shock absorber bolt is tightened.
Can you reuse the rear shock mounts?
We recommend changing the supports along with the shock absorbers
You don’t need to take the control arm off, really long winded way to do this
We are sure that your comment will be useful for many of our viewers.
