Everything with Usopp and Robin was an emotional highpoint in the entire series. I still cry when I see the scene of Robin scream that she wants to live. Chills and tears everytime. Even though it’s not a sad kind of emotional Zoro’s sacrifice to Kuma was also one of the most emotional moments in the series.
Every time I hear this song is when everything is about to go down. The *Water 7 Arc* & *Ennis Lobby Arc* were amongst the best in the One Piece series in anime & manga.
Water 7 was great at the start, but one of my least fav plot points in any media is when the main characters are blamed for something they didnt do. Didnt last for so long but still. EL tho was pure hype at some parts. Each straw got a power up, and Luff got 2. Lucci was cool, six powers thing was nice. But for me top arc is Marineford purely because it felt more like a battle than ELobby raid did. Ford was brutal, people died, beloved characters also. In terms of emotion, Lobby takes the cake. I didnt find robins story that sad because mass destruction pasts dont get me, but still is was nice. Ace was ruined in mford. It didnt feel like a good sendoff, whereas robins rejoin did

The Water 7/Enies Lobby Arc is still, a decade and a half later, the peak of One Piece - in my opinion, the only time it's gotten nearly that good since then is Whole Cake Island. Not only that, but it's arguably one of the best arcs in shonen as a whole - right up there with the Pain Arc from Naruto, Soul Society Arc from Bleach, Chimera Ant Arc from HxH, Dark Tournament Arc from YYH, the Noah's Ark Arc from D.Gray-Man and (SPOILERS) the My Villain Academia Arc from MHA. What a masterpiece.

bruh this opening reminds me the best saga and arcs in sea of rookies saga. Enies Lobby Arc is the best coz each strawhat members gained lots of powerups and the most iconic scenes on one piece history( including the going merry burial)
