I honestly don't know if you're joking or not but TH-cam is more than memories for him. Even after his competitive career ends he still needs a source of income that's why many ex-pros continue to stream/do youtube for example Lethamyr, Turbo, and Squishy. Recently they haven't been doing too bad competitively as they've beaten GenG, V1(new roster), and Faze. Lastly, Optic, as a team is people past their primes: AyyJayy(Faze), Retals (SSG), and Majicbear won't reach his peak with this roster because it better suits someone more defensive like Mist or Torment.
