Excellent explore once again. Really getting in to these impressive inclines because of your channel. Beautiful weather, scenery and photography. Loved that the quarry is now filled with heather...must look beautiful when in flower, and a great place for insects etc. Keep up the great work!

First! Beautiful day for filming in Pateley Bridge. I love an incline with a quarry too! As you know Paul that's why I love Wales with the slate mines & quarries there with their steep inclines. This is quite steep too when you hit the shaded area, Nice to see some evidence of the tramway at the top makes the climb more worthwhile! Lovely shaded internal tramway with stone wall cutting was a good find Paul then the views from the end of the tramway was spectacular! Going back down is much easier 😅 fab explore Paul enjoyed that. See you on the next one! ❤🥰👍

Was so happy to get that one last day out with the bit of bonus summer in mid September.
I'd seen the incline on the previous visit, but didnt think i would get the chance to nip back up before the winter.
      Great day for it.

Amazing Paul. I had no idea about the quarry. It predates the NVR. When you think that closed almost 110 years ago there's so much more remaining that some lines you have covered that closed since the 80s

Looks like from the pile of loose material the end product was fully or part finished building blocks. Some appear in the siding wall to the other quarry. Shipping a finished stone would be cheaper and is a little healthier, but not by much, for the craftsman shaping and chiseling the blocks in the fresh air.
