With Mitch being being in the paint and dropping much less than Kat i feel like it will also make our perimeter D much better. Guys cant just drive the ball and expect what they are seeing now with mitch in the paint. Getting around screens will also be easier for josh Og and Mikal. What i have learned it that we cant rely on Mitch.
Sims is a liability. I think we should focus on making Hukporti better. Once we get Mitch back and play him with KAT at the 4 its a wrap. We will be what the Timberwolves were last year. Very promising.
A little surprised this is obvious now. It's always been clear the Knicks need a big that can defend and bang. Losing I-Hart was massive. This was a Leon Rose f-up, not signing him for multiple seasons and just assuming he'd resign. Go get Kessler or if Ainge is being unreasonable, go for someone else. Mitch has already proven he cannot stay healthy
@@mikesaunders9493 The Knicks signed Hartenstein for only two years in 2022. That meant, from the moment they got him, that they would be limited in their ability to re-sign him because he would only have Early Bird Rights as a 2024 free agent instead of full Bird Rights
@@mikesaunders9493 miscalculating his value and only signing him for 2 years. also absorbing Mikal Bridges contract before the draft and creating a hard cap. Rose took a chance that no other team would outbid them enough to lure I-Hart away and then when OKC did, he couldn't counter
@@noodle123ify Rose has absolutely made some mistakes but to criticize him for not giving a back up center, who up until that point, bounced around the league, more than a two year deal is not fair.. Let’s not forget, I Hart blossomed due to Mitchell Robinson getting injured.. And once again, the most the Knicks could offer I Hart was 16 million per year; why would I Hart sign that knowing he had 30, on the table.. I didn’t want Bridges at all. Let alone for the amount of assets we have up to get him; but there were rumors that several teams were offering 4 firsts etc
It’s at a point right now where you’re just so frustrated being A knicks fan because we’re so good it’s no reason why we’re doing so bad and as far as Mitchell I feel we need to trade him because we cannot depend on him if trade deadline passes and he comes back and gets re-injured. Our season is over as well as his trade value
Kat wasn't a good fit in Minnesota once they got Gobert. He's actually more confortable at the five not the four. They may be able to play a few minutes a night together but not many. They would stifle each other on the offensive end. The Knicks don't have a true four. They are undersized on both the starting unit and the bench. Atlanta and other teams with more length and size have exploited that weakness.
The Knicks have dropped the ball on the Center position. Both Robinson and Sims are a liability on offense. Neither one can shoot a jump shop or make any kind of offensive move to the basket. Terrible free throw shooters. Time to stop making excuses, get a real center.

Man our defense is so much different from last year & we can't handle the more long & athletic teams
I feel like the hawks could be 2-80 in a season, and both of those wins would be against the Knicks…..

The Knicks are not winning a title anymore. It's clear as day they aren't close
Can't wait to see a pick and roll with KAT and Mitch.

Bro. The Knicks were limited to how much money they could pay IHart. Knicks fans need to understand this

His trade value is already zero

When is he coming back April
Current Knicks team is playing soft, Karl Anthony shoots an actcesive amount of low percentage three pointers which weakens the Knicks on both ends z
Shamefully NYC has gone From dogs Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley to soft jumping Shooting Kat
Stop Mitchell Robinson sucks. Always hurt get his ass off this team. He’s not important.
