My mates moving to folkstone soon and yeah it seemed pretty nice! Went to Zen Cafe for lunch and it was some surprisingly good food at a reasonable price.
There used to be a nudest beach around the Warren somewhere, not sure if it's still active. I love my lil home town of Folkestone & never get bored of seeing France. Thanks for a fab vid guys
Another great video showing off the town but just to give you a heads up in the autumn the redevelopment of bouverie square starts and the old bus station is being replaced with a slimmed down version and a new town park installed so come back next summer to see how it looks
Oh that’s good to know thanks Mark. So much going on in Folkestone it’s hard to keep up. We are hoping they get the leas cliff lift working again. That would be great!
I went to Folkestone for the first time a few years ago and thought it was really nice, obviously a place on the up. We went to Rocksalt, the restaurant overlooking the harbour which was fantastic. Ps - if you want a good uk nudist beach, try Studland near the Jurassic coast just across the harbour from Bournemouth and Poole. It's actually a fantastic, long, sandy beach which is also a nature reserve. Easily as good as anything on the continent
As a resident folkestone is a nice town. It was nice before the development and nice during it's heyday as a seaside resort as well. What let's it down is the overpriced everything along the coast and everywhere that tries hard to attract out of town tourists. What makes the town special is it's location between the sea and hills and what it has there to discover. Like many out of towners you missed its secret beach. Which isn't the most signposted and is protected by high cliffs. It's usually only the locals that know that area well. But it's a site of special scientific interest due to its local wildlife and fauna. Also it occasionally plays host to night time party's from locals who just bring down sound systems and booze to have a good time away from anywhere that might complain about noise pollution. I'm referring to the locally known warren
As always my dudes, you make the hat look so good!!! That ham and cheese looks delicious. Very similar to the ham and cheese at Avalon Park at Cafe Coqui! Last but not least, I don't think I'd be brave enough to participate in a nudist beach.
Hiya, stayed overnight in Folkestone a few years ago driving back from Croatia, it was shut! To be fair though, we did arrive pretty latish and didn't really spend that much time there but it does look lovely xx
When did you visit Folkestone , hasn’t it been quite hot 🥵 lately? That is the smallest Au Natural beach 🏖️, I have ever seen. I think 🤔 4 people would fill it up. You need to go to mainland Europe, for some beautiful Au Natural beaches. It’s quite nice to swim like a Merman 🧜🏻♂️, then return to your blanket after a dip, and dry off quickly. ❤🏖️ 🍑 🌈
Personally after living in Folkestone for many years until not long ago, I felt with all the modernisation and new adaptions, Folkestone actually lost part of its appeal to those already living there. I and others felt 'it sold its soul to attract new people. It's a nice place no doubt and everyone's view is different but for me, it isn't the coolest - it would certainly sell itself as the coolest though!
U talking about Folkestone I used to live there and most of the people are weird it’s like your on a different planet and it sure ain’t the best seaside Weston supa mare is way better
Lovely couple very funny!

love the little pink floating house !
It’s cool isn’t it? Unfortunately as Josh says it’s probably just a shell (it’s one of the public art displays) otherwise it would be a great airBnB 😂
LOVE the backpack!
Thank you!
Great vlog lads. I haven't been to Folkestone for ages, but there always seems to be something new to see when I do go.😉😉
Thanks Sharon, glad you enjoyed it! Folkestone is ever changing you are right and that is one of the reasons we love it!

@@JJExtra always room for more tenders!
Be careful of the sewage discharges courtesy of Southern Water, around that coast.

Sorry to hear you feel that way but you’re right, everyone’s view is different so its always good to hear a different point of view 😊
I’m getting uneasy flashbacks because that’s where my ex lives🤢
Is Folkestone the coolest resort in the UK? .... the answer is no.
