8 Minute Phonological Awareness Heggerty Lesson

Did you know that phonological awareness is a strong predictor of reading success? Mrs. Hayes is in week 5 of Heggerty and these kindergarteners are really getting the hang of it!
Phonological awareness allows students to recognize and work with the sounds of language. These activities are sometimes called ear exercises because the focus is on hearing the parts or sounds in words. You'll notice the students can not see the words in print at all.
