Low key I wish it was Pidge who got stuck in the time abyss bullshit. Bc they could just have her be the one to leave the group and search for her family, and Keith could like split time between Voltron and the Blade. That way Pidge is closer to the same age as the rest of the team, she comes back with her family after having growth, Keith and Lance can get some actual development that their relationship so desperately needed (even if they still only end up as friends) so we can understand them better, and Pidge could break free from the "little sister and tech" character and have the chance to develop a serious relationship with Lance, Allura, hell, even Hunk. And also that would help clear up the storyline overload given to Keith so he could just focus on the whole Shiro thing and also being part Galra and not also have to leave the team for 2 whole seasons.
Then like her, Matt, and her Dad could have like actual wholesome bonding time on the whale and meet Romelle instead of the awkward shit we got with Keith and his mom. And instead we could also just have Keith sneak around the Blades and spend time with his mom that way which is way simpler and could actually be wholesome if they're like looking out for each other on missions every now and then. Also I feel like Romelle just fits in better with the Holts anyway. Either way, having Pidge be the one who leaves instead of Keith in season 4 I think would give a lot more weight to Pidge's arc, let Keith kinda chill for a bit, and just make seasons 4-6 overall better.
