To me, most of the TV characters in looks are faithful to the book's descriptions of them. Good work in terms of costuming and casting!
GoT has some of the best lore accurate casting! And if a actor doesn't look exactly like in the books, he nailed the character to 100%
Then we have euron, doran, sand snakes and ellaria who fall in neither category. Smalljon umber to an extent as well
@@arunsingla3452 you're right, but I was talking about the first 4 seasons, which was perfectly. In the 5th the problems started and in the 8th they destroyed everything. Tbf I think the cast for Euron, Elia and Doran was good, they were just bad written and got to few screentime
@ragnarokivae136 That's completely wrong, did you even read the books? Jaime, Cersei, and all valyrian descendant characters are far more common, even ugly, in the cast, compared to the inhuman beauty they are depicted in the books. And thats something that happens with places too, the show was great, but has nothing to do with the books.
@@pipiriti1984 aha and who should play them instead? Some super models with 0 acting talent? AI generated beauties? Maybe they don't fit their beauty but they nail the characters perfect.

Most of these images are generated after the actors that played the roles...the AI just added details from description on the already existing cast

@@nunyabiznes33the problem is that AI recognizes the description and associates it with the character's name and will automatically use information it can find that's connected to it which means the show's actors play into it. I don't think you can avoid that.
I saw a video where someone did that with Harry Potter characters and despite him just using the book descriptions it turned out similarly
I think it probably gets more accurate to the books the more book accurate artworks of a character the ai can gather. Cersei or Daenerys for example have a shit ton of artwork about them so it's not surprising that they look more like the book description and less like the show counterparts

Maybe generate from the books description without the actors likeness involved. Because its clear which inspired which here. Making the video useless at best.
I think they tried to stay true to the book, but there are some in the series I like better than the pictures.

Missandei appears in the third book and is 10 years old. Robb is 14 in the first book and 16 in the third when he dies. This means that only 2 years have passed from the first book to the third book. This means that if Missandei is only 10 years old in the third book, she is probably only 12 or at most 13 years old in the last book.

For the moment, the events of the story only span 3 years : 298-300. The 1st begin in 298 and end in 299, the 2nd is set only in 299, the third begin also in 299 but ends in 300 (the Purple Wedding was celebrate on new year’s day), the last two are set in 300.
As we don’t know her birthday and don’t have a day to day chronology, Missandei could still be 10 or up to 12 at the end of Dance.

Yeah that’s not what he looks like in the books at all, he’s gaunt with black hair, iirc kinda thin with sullen grey skin and black or grey eyes. He’s also tall iirc. He’s the oldest, being 19 when the oldest Stark was 14. This is completely wrong and doesn’t seem like it’s using the book descriptions at all
I don’t recall Hodor being described as morbidly obese. Tommen is also supposed to actually be the fat one
