Any thoughts or tips on doing this chassis with a TRX6? I'm rather new to the hobby, but would be fun to try to lighten up the rig and try the gspeed chassis. I have an AXE system and a G13 servo already, and just picked up a fresh set of wheels (also the KLR/M). Mostly stock otherwise, but would be fun to drop it some, maybe widen it slightly (it's a trail truck anyhow), and lighten and front bias the weight a little more.
I think I’ll be doin it to my trx6 as well at some point. The biggest thing with swapping a trx over is the transmission, most ditch the Traxxas transmission for an scx3 gear or similar to gain the clearance and shave weight. But there is a 3D print file out there, for the trx trans to fit a V3 gspeed. It just Hangs a bit low for my liking but I may try it.
@@TRDAdventures Ahh, makes sense. I don't mind swapping the transmission. I'll look into that, but if you have any knee jerk suggestions -- I'll take them!
Just completed a really similar build and it works great. It’s super fun to crawl with. Thanks for the video.
It’s is a custom 3D printed scx10 flat skid I am using. Sorry I did forget to add.
Do you need a rear link riser on the third axle? Mine keeps moving backwards under compression…
You didn't mention what skid you was using since the stock skid don't transfer over

I will add, I appreciate your video. Being a bit new to RC, it's nice to see a walk through to see what I might be missing.

I designed the chassis myself around the TRX6 platform. I was able to swap everything over except for the transmission. Also used the AXE system
@@neilmandude Sorry, missed this earlier! I saw your build Neil on RCReview and that is what got me thinking about this. Great builds!
