Assembling the Vevor 2-stage Transmission Jack

Since they don't come with an instruction manual, here's a how-to on assembling the generic Chinese 2-stage transmission floor jack. These are sold on Amazon under the brand names Vevor, Iglobalbuy, ERfairdeal, Zhibek, XKMT, and others. It seems like a decent enough tool for occasional hobbyist use. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Mine refers to washers as "Cowshed." That's a new term for me.
I... have absolutely nothing on that. Maybe they were trying to indicate a "crush washer"? You can bet that I'm going to start calling them cowsheds now, though!
Are those legs upside down? Casters should be recessed. See 1:43 I don't want to see you get hurt it changes the center of gravity.
I don't think so... All the pictures of the thing show the legs that way. It's been a while, but I thought I had tried to put it together with the legs the other way and it didn't work.
The real danger with this tool is the lack of a cotter pin on the angle adjuster nut. I managed to douse myself in gasoline and trap myself under a car holding the fuel tank up when I tried to use this jack to re-install a fuel tank. As I attempted to level it out, the nut unthreaded and bounced away and the top plate came loose, dumping fuel all over me.
@@williamehrman I just assembled one of these units myself, and I am certain you have assembled the legs in the correct orientation. If you flip the legs over the locking casters would be unable to swivel 360 degrees as the lock mechanism would be striking the leg. This arrangement is correct for this particular model.
You put wrong casters
Well, if I put the wrong casters on, they sent me the wrong casters because I just used what was in the box.
