Hi there, a few things:
1) Vlogging/filming in public might get a few weird looks no matter what city your in, so you definitely need to have some courage do it so good for you. Most people in Toronto don't care, especially cause there's soooo many people doing it now, but yeah you'll still get the odd cut eye here and there. Also good for you for also taking a step to get out of your comfort zone.
2)As far as the unhinged people on the subway, this has become a problem here in Toronto recently. The politicians and police had a big conference about this week. They just assigned 200 police officers to patrol the subway because it was getting pretty bad. Nobody seems to know what's causing it, but they are blaming it on a variety of factors. It's sad.

Thank you! I am getting more and more comfortable vlogging. I appreciate the encouragement 🫠I also noticed a lot of police present as well, that’s good news for the city. I chose Toronto because I didn’t know too much about it. Here in California we don’t get to experience cold winters/snow. I could’ve went somewhere tropical but I found Toronto seemed way more interesting. Also did some research and found it is a pretty safe city to travel solo, and had a lot of monuments/history I wanted to experience.
