Few Minute Vaporizers cover most of your carb with a piece of tape and don't use it. The omni adjustable mouth piece controls carb airflow. Figure out how small you need the carb to be for you to get great hits without completely covering it. Also just pinch the cap. Vapcapps' suggestion for a loose cap. Also a ti cap on an M will improve performance! Cheers!

Hey friend, I’m still alive. I commented somewhere the reasoning behind my lack of posting. Long story short, got arrested, cops threw away all the vapes I was preparing to review, and I have since moved on. I’m hoping to make a follow up video in the future but not too sure what to talk about haha.
I've read several threads about this and it should work. Just make sure to put it between any substance so the liquid doesnt come directly into your mouth. It does ruin the vapcap's taste but you might be able to get rid of that by cleaning it with ISO

All caps and tips are the same size. Just squeeze the opening of the cap a little for a snug fit.

The cap tightening difference is because of the different spiral grooves they used between the 17 and 18 models.

maybe your 2017 cap is slightly bended over time, it's a very thin and bendable metal (shouldn't have any effect on the click)

Update. I contacted support and the fix is easy. If you want a snugger cap then squeeze the cap into a more oval shape.
You can adjust the tip by squeezing it a little, just don't squeeze too much.

All caps will eventually turn a darker color with use. It’s called Patina and can be removed with steel wool if it bothers you.
