    Lose the bunkhouse. Turn the bed so no more crawling over each other. Put sink above toilet. WINNER!

      If you turn the bed even with the bunks gone you've added 3 or 4 feet in length so that's at least 3 to 4k in added price

    It’s a very cool trailer with all the right stuff at a very reasonable price. The Geo Pro is one of the best compact trailers for the price. You can find cheaper trailers this size but what you get for extra money is well worth it. The lower bunk flips up to give even more storage. This would be my first choice for a small trailer.

    I’m a new subscriber who just discovered your channel and have been contemplating purchasing a travel trailer. This one is cool and I’m a fan of the features. Thanks for being so thorough in your reviews. It helps when your new to this to get so much good advice. Thanks again.

    Went to our local RV dealer here in southern Indiana on a whim this Saturday and toured this exact model. I believe it had Goodyear tires and one optional package (maybe that oven was part of it). MSRP was $32k something and sale was $30k something. My only complaints were the main door latch was crazy stiff to open, wish sink was inset and included cover for prep, and the tanks were larger (I think 30gal fresh). We're in the market for a new house and don't want to spend $30k otherwise I do love this RV! May go to another dealer to see if we can look at and price a similar size Jay Flight.

    Awesome camper for the price. Plus it sleeps 5 which is also a plus!

    This is probably the best layout for this size camper that would actually function for a family of 4. Nice to know something smaller & more affordable than a 40+’ fifth wheeler is possible!

    I am pretty sure a 5000lbs tow capacity midsize suv will pull that trailer without any problems. Buying a 1/2 ton truck just for that is probably overkill.

    • @scottchudley8646
      @scottchudley8646 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We tow our e-pro 19BH (same as the Geo-Pro reviewed here) with a Honda Passport - it has a 5000lb capacity…and I will be honest, once you get some gear packed in the trailer, the Honda is at its safe towing limit. It tows great in the prairies (flat land!!) but if you’re in the mountains or any hilly country, you need a more robust tow vehicle. My wife and I will be getting a half-ton truck to make the towing more enjoyable. We love our trailer, but be aware that even at a dry weight most mid-size SUVs will be at their limit towing this unit safely.

    Question on travel trailers that have solar all ready installed? Does the solar give you enough power to turn on the lights without batteries? I know Matt did that in a couple of his videos.

      There was a tube under the frame about midway for the stinky slinky. Still seems like it should have a bumper for safety reasons.

    I am on the brink of purchasing the 2024 model to live out of while I attend grad school in Memphis. I currently drive a 2015 tacoma with a v6 tow package 6500lbs max. Do you think ill have issues with it?

  • @FirinBBs
    @FirinBBs 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I used to question your recommendations a little when I had my 1/2 ton. The dealers will even tell you it wont be an issue at all. I upgraded to a 1 ton dually and was amazed as the comfort difference when towing a long distance. Sure you can get away with less but the comfort extended past just towing but into the whole experience. First ditching gas gave me the option for aux fuel tanks. It also opened me up to using the commercial lanes at truck stops. The easy in and out makes towing much less work. I think it would be a great event if BTBRV teamed up with a manufacturer and a RV dealer. Take RVs right in the middle of that 1/2 to 3/4 or 3/4 to 1 ton and let real world drivers from the area come in. Better yet, let drivers bring their own rigs and bump them up a class. You could even get etrailer or a hitch manufacturer get involved and show what hitch setup makes their rig more comfortable. Real people giving their opinions might help drive those decisions.

    You need to check out the Ember line. I’d like you to compare the ember 190MBH vs. No Bo 19.3. Which would you but. Both have a off grid unplugged max solar package.

    It would have been nice if you showed all of the storage above the bed and dinette, as well as the A/C. I don’t know if it is ducted or not. With this being such a small RV, seeing all of the storage is important, and it would be nice to know if the A/C is ducted or not.
    Just a little constructive criticism. Otherwise, keep up the videos!!! You are the go to guy when it comes to these and we appreciate that!!!

    Thank you. I was wondering if you could cover some campers that can be pulled by an SUV such as a 4Runner which has a tow capacity of 5000 lbs. I am specifically trying to find campers that are not popups due to having to camp in bear country.

    Hubby and I absolutely LOVE your channel! Happy new year from Milton, ON, Canada. Just curious, do you think you could get two adult mountain bikes in and out of that cargo/play door? Would've been nice to see the bunk flipped up and to get a measurement of the storage area (too bad the door was locked). These are hard to find in my neck of the woods.

  • @mattdagger1480

    I like this layout but you need to check out ember RVs. The ember 170mbh is similar to this but you get so much more- true box steel frame, true independent suspension, certified 0-100 degree rating, and a true queen Murphy bed
    It does cost more but it dosnt have a splinter of wood in the structure to rot and to me it’s well worth it.
    Definitely go check out some ember RVs when u can

    The diagram on the inside of the door showed A/C on the roof, but this unit does not appear to have A/C which probably explains the lower price. I wish a lot of RVs came with a place for more than just a couple of batteries. Is it ok for an electric tongue jack to operate off of lithium batteries? If so you could put two S0K marine grade batteries there at 206ah each which would give you 330 useable amp hours. I can't imagine the tongue jack drawing too much of a load. Unlike an engine starter.
