@rbhavin baobab is similar to succulent. So please use a free draining soil. I use a mix of 50 % leca or burnt clay, 15% cinder, 15% pumice, 10% grit, 5% cocochips, 5% charcoal. Mix all these along with some fungicide.

Sir I recently purchased baobab plant online…
It was in transit for more than seven days with other plants …
All the plant like malphigia glabra maintained their leaves….
I repotted the baobab plant on 27 oct but it hasn’t leafed out yet…
Because of repotting I placed it under shade…
Want to know should I keep it in full sun to leaf back…
Or it has gone dormant and will have to wait for spring…
After how many days can it be placed in full sun…

@@gauravgowardhan7072 hi Gaurav, even my baobab is slowly going towards dormancy. It has very few leaves and no new growth. I usually keep any tree in shade for a week post repotting. Even during dormancy i leave the tree in full sun but water very less frequently. It will start sprouting new leaves in April. I feed tree heavily then. Hoping that you have used a free draining soil. Hope this helps.
