A dynamic conductor, pianist and composer, Michael Tilson is now celebrating his 21st year as music director of the San Francisco Symphony. He has won further renown as founder and artistic director of Miami’s New World Symphony and principal guest conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra - and his popular “Keeping Score” PBS series has made classical music more accessible to people of all ages and musical interests.
