    I've had been very frequently using mine for half a year already and I'm still very happy with them. They're holding great, and everything is easily replaceable anyway if needed or wanted to.
    The wheels are indeed soft, but I've been thinking about something: given the price and the brand, while being very decent skates they're still primarily beginner oriented. And nowadays there's a lot of beginners that learn on indoor classes. Softer wheels being grippier and more reliable for a beginner is another factor. As is economy as well, of course.
    The bearings aren't any good either, but here, too, slower can mean safer.
    I must say I already had better of both things when I bought the skates, but they're things that will need replacing fast anyway, specially on almost any cheaper skate stock wheels. We're just talking sooner. The bearings do their job.
    The liner could indeed be better, but we're talking about a less than 90€ skate.
    I'm happy with them right now, and when I can afford it I'll change the liner, I'll add some three wheels frame to my options, I might replace the straps (and the cuffs' bolts! There must be a simple way to take that bolt out and put something that works... I find the flex comfortable and still responsive, but it bothers me!😅). Eventually the boot even, but hey, they'll take a lot of upgrading until I can afford those beautiful Adapts...

    I’m glad to hear that all these skates are a good entry purchase. I always worry that skates at the lowest price point are cutting corners in places which truly hurt the experience for the user. For 100 they look very good and by their specs seem to be quite the good purchase. And just so you know Tiago, when you say “you can change everything” I have actually done so for a few younger kids here in my town. I gave them a couple pointers and so they are skating quite happily.

    I found a pair of these in Scotland for £79. Last pair in the shop -- perfect fit. Didn't even see any reviews, but for the price they seemed pretty solid.
    I use them for downhill ski-style slalom on bike trails (and nordic-skate training on the way back up 😆)
    So far they have been quite enjoyable -- and I don't feel bad sending it downhill on rough asphalt because if they get scratched -- no one cares. That's what they're made for.
    Quite rugged and versatile. If I can earn enough money in the next year, I may just upgrade to a 3-wheel frame on the same boot.

    The parts that oxello makes (axis, bearings, wheels) are rather decent. So may be is not bad to have such a skates, as a second pair. Nice vid as always,Tiago)

    • @TiagoInlineSkater
      @TiagoInlineSkater  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nik Zvi Inline i tend to disagree 🤔 i already destroyed their wheels in 1 day, I recently bought 2 skates from them, and both had problems with their axles ( and the MF500 one's were "badly" designed ) and bearings...meh, 'sallright 😂

    • @NikZvi
      @NikZvi 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Tiago Inline Skater well, I've said decent, not good.:) In comparison with some other nonames their parts win. Ofcourse they will lose to the pro skater brands. Actually I've tried only glowing wheels, and they are ok till now, after few active t- stopping sessions and axises that are better than another noname option. I think I've also tried bearings, but I'm killing almost all the bearings quite fast, because of my skating spots.

    Thanks Tiago for review. I have one of those but they are hurting my ankles. The cuff screws are in contact with my ankles (sharp edges of nuts). I was thinking about replacing those screws and nuts with different ones (maybe with nuts with profiled edges) but I'm not able to unscrew them. The nut is round and has two holes in it, so when I'm trying to unscrew the screw it keeps rotating. You mentioned that you tight it up, what tool did you used?

    Hey Tiago! Great Video!
    I am about to buy my first pair of Freestyle Skates, and until this Video launched I was considering the SEBA FRX. But now that I saw the Oxelos, I'm not so sure anymore. Metal mountingplates for the frame should bring more Power transfer and the 45 degree stap also looks so much more durable than the velcro strap on the Sebas. How do you think these two pair of Skates compare? Which one would you choose?
    Kind regards from Germany!
    Chris

    • @TiagoInlineSkater
      @TiagoInlineSkater  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      wild_world humm I would the FRX anyway 🤔 mine still are in a very good shape, after many years! I really trust them, and it's also much easier to find replacement parts! plus the cuff and the liner are way better. I'd rather have a GOOD velcro strap, than a full soft plastic ratchet strap that I don't know if it will break after a few falls :) ( plus the wheels are excellent with the FRX :) ! )

      I have been using the frx 80s for 2 months now and I'm in love. Good cuff with X2R rockerable frames. The frames can be switched out. The wheels are street king 85a 80mm wheels which are very good.

      wild_world I skate the FRX 80s and bought the luminous wheels for them and I enjoy them a lot. Got about 3 months of extremely heavy skate to wear the wheels and bearings out. I recommend the FRX 80s for a beginner to an intermediate skater

    It's too bad the ride height is so high. The boot is a mile away from the top of the wheels.
    Seba not much better. Time to design some boots the way they should be.
    Bauer hockey skates had the right idea back in the 90's with the top of the second wheel cut right into the sole. I like my Aeon boots now. All my wheels coming right into the boot footbed area.

      a K2 Kinetic looks like it would be a good entry rec skate. I started on a used pair of K2 rec skates, and changed to aggressive skating later on. It all depends on getting a good fit for your foot shape which is hard to do now that there are so few shops selling skates. It would be best to try on skates, but in any case I would look for a recreational skate. That k2 is cheaper but will come with decent cuff, wheels, etc. You don't want to go super cheap or it will be super uncomfortable and you won't have a good time.

    For those who have bought these. Website says they run small, have you found this to be true?
    I wear a size 10 US MEN. Should I order a half size up or 1 size up. Thanks

      I've tried them in store and one size up was the one that fit well. So you better order one size up if not ordered yet.

    Hi. You was my motivation to buy skates, and I did it ! I have bought Imperial Pro. I have been no ride for a long time. So I got one question to you: A feel a pain near my ankle after 10-20min ride. Is it noormal at the begining? :)

      You may be not used to skating so your ankle hurts. Don't worry it's completely normal for a beginner to have certain parts of their body hurt but make sure to don't overwork your ankle.

    This skate popped into my head bc I've been thinking about getting another pair of rollerblades. The ones that I have are the NoFear Fitness skates, and they suck (obvI). They're lacking padding in the liner, an actual structure, and also a removable liner.
