Btw, it was time consuming and costly because we did it through a lawyer while we were still in Utah during Covid. But we just showed proof that our parents were Samoan citizens from birth and we gained citizenship through ancestry 🙌🏼

Condolences on the passing of your siblings👼👼 the unforseen circumstances of life, but we still know and feel the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father🙏 Thessaly is growing fast with a charming personality to add to her cuteness. It's going to be hard now for her to speak Samoan cause she knows her parents speaks only English to her. If possible, raise her bilingual. Maybe have her interact with your uncle and aunty, her cousins with speaking Samoan ONLY and remid them not to speak English to her. This will let Thessaly know that she can only speak Samoan to her relatives because its the only language they know and hopefully she can't completely forget it, if she's immersed in it. Wow Indian cuisine in Samoa!🥣🍝🍜🧆🍗 Love it!! ♥The dipping sauces are usually the mint cilantro ginger chutney, tamarind sweet & chutney and a red chili chutney. I"m confused..so in 2 yrs you dont automatically get a passport for Thessaly? I thought you'd just move back to the USA for good once her passort was issued??.
No, the two year requirement is needed before you can apply and that can take another year or two to hear back from them. But after losing my husbands siblings, we wanted to take Thessaly to visit family, because tomorrow is never promised for any of us. We’re extremely grateful we were able to get a visitor visa. One day we’ll apply for her paperwork but for now, we can’t wait to visit all our families and friends

This will let Thessaly know that she can only speak Samoan to her relatives because its the only language they know and hopefully she can't completely forget it, if she's immersed in it. I"m confused..so in 2 yrs you dont automatically get a passport for Thessaly? I thought you'd just move back to the USA for good once her passort was issued??.
No, the two year requirement is needed before you can apply and that can take another year or two to hear back from them. But after losing my husbands siblings, we wanted to take Thessaly to visit family, because tomorrow is never promised for any of us. We’re extremely grateful we were able to get a visitor visa. One day we’ll apply for her paperwork but for now, we can’t wait to visit all our families and friends
