hi ive been trying to import a material to jaa and its just not working, its crashing when i try to import and i tried pretty much everything that i know, does anybody know a fix?
Unfortunately I have no idea about a fix for this issue and the developer gave this project to another person, so you should try asking someone on JAA discord server

Hello, I was wondering where did you get that landscape material with all of the layers, because I was trying to make an island with a snow layer but if i create my own material then I don't have the asphalt road texture (which is in the Ch 2 material, it is usefull when making the roads for a city and making them blend off with grass like on the tilted island)
I ported the material and then made layer data or something like that in that landscape mode. It was a long time ago and I don't remember the exact steps I did, because my main workflow is in Blender
I cant seem to port the athena master landscape, whenever i do it just looks exactly like the script for uefn, it also says things about missing material functions but even when i import them it doesnt work

Could you send me that UEFN project that has the chapter 1 terrain in it? Im working on porting the OG HUDs and Animations from chapter 1, but I cant get FModel to give me the textures. That would be all I need for my project!

Some people are still using it by adjusting some things themselves. You can try to look for solutions on JAA discord server and/or ask some people there

The roads are a separate material. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of any of them 😔

when i click json as asset it comes up with a local fetch api thing at the bottom
aslo when i press execute it pops up with something on screen but its gone before u can see it

I'm having an issue where UE just crashes when I import the asteria grass foliage material, but I can import other materials just fine.
Yeah, that happened to me as well and I just had to save and restart it. If it doesn't help, ask for help in the official JAA server

@HogneeDZN that's alright, I don't need the foliage, it just would've been nice to have it. I keep seeing other support tickets like mine and they get ignored as well and it really sucks.
When i click the Execute JsonasAsset API thing it pops up for a second but then disappears, any possible reasons for this?

I know there have been only 2 people with this issue and they haven't a sollution for it. Maybe someone found it by now, you can ask in JAA Official server

Does it work for older versions such as 24.20, 26.30 (Ch4 S2 up to Ch4 S4)

do the material validate in uefn so i can test them out in game?

the notification doesnt pop and also it says i already have a plugins folder

Not allowed to use Fortnite materials and models in uefn? Then wtf is the point of having the 1.0 asset browser and being able to use any 1.0 islands since they are Fortnite’s assets
I'm not sure if you are allowed, so that's why I said use at your own risk. I've seen people using them and it was okay (team Unite for example)
When I import a material it’s missing textures and some material functions how do I fix that?
Try setting UE version to 5_3

There's no way to do it now. Unfortunately the original dev stepped off development of this app :(

I think Tector did this FModel. You can ask on their server if they have the source code
