- There's been mixed reaction to the newly-formed government of national unity.
The ANC, DA, IFP and PA have struck a deal, which saw president-elect Cyril Ramaphosa return for another term on Friday.

And they get paid by percentage so a R4.500 job divided up for 2 people instead of one still only offers 1 percent of R4.500. Is my math wrong?
Read their manifesto; they don’t want to decrease the minimum wage, they just won’t increase it and also allow people to choose if they want it or not

The current minimum wage is already below basic food basket, so if they can't even afford just food how can the jobs lift one out of poverty?
The mood on the ground is that all impipis that are part of the coalition will be purged from the neighbourhoods they operate by doing to them what was done in the 80’s. I am shocked that the Trevor does not demonize the DA because he said exactly what I have been saying all the time. DA wants more jobs and more jobs means the unions gain more power.
Not sure that unions will gain power but there is a fair chance they will get more members.

I voted for ANC n will always do so as long as i live ...we had no outright majority so it's important to swallow our pride, work with other parties for the nation,South Africans first....we need to change people's lives, create jobs, upgrade infrastructure,grow economy..,.we don't eat political parties we have to work together for our children to have better lives.
