I labored in my back yard. Weed whacking for 3 hours. Wife ran the lawn mower. We pulled up watermelon and pumpkin vines. I love it when I get to deconstruct that mess of hers. About the only thing left growing are various pepper plants and there's not much left of them. Damn it was hot.
That is a very nice diorama. I think it tells the story of the Douglas World Cruisers in an easy- to- grasp way. It's too bad this amazing feat is little known today. Happy birthday and anniversary.
GREAT DIORAMA MAX,REMINDS ME OF THE WAKE ISLAND DIORAMA I SAW IN A MODEL MAG.LONG AGO.ENJOY YOUR ANNIVERSARY AND BIRTHDAY,HAVE A GREAT WEEK AHEAD AND GOD BLESS.
Masamitsu Yoshioka would have been six years old when the Douglas World Cruisers visited Kagoshima, Japan. Who was Yoshioka? He was a navigator aboard one of the Nakajima "Kate" torpedo bombers that struck the USS Utah at Pearl Harbor on 7 Dec 41 and the last surviving veteran of the raid. He died last week on 29 Aug 24 at the age of 106.
That is looking awesome you could do a color shot when you get it done then do a black and white with a gray tone to it so it looks like it was shot on that time period your two cats will get together it just takes time if my Malamute and hound can adopt two orphan cats anything's possible have a good evening with your celebrations 👍👍
Seems you have the same anniversary date as my parents, happy anniversary to you both. The diorama is really coming along with some nice areas of interest scattered around, model on
Happy anniversary Mrs. and Mr. Max. Happy Birthday Max. The build is looking super, Max. I get a few of those spam emails. Also found out I know 47 dead relatives who left me a fortune.
MY FAMILY GOT A LETTER IN 1926 FROM THE ENGLISH GOVERMENT TELLING THEM TO SEND 25,000 POUNDS OR THE FAMILY CASTLE WOULD BE SOLD OFF.CAN'T HAVE SPAM ANYTHING BECAUSE OF BAD HEART.TAKE CARE
Dude that's starting to look museum quality. You could make big [scale] canvas looking Hangar Tents out of old typing paper -- crumpled and soaked in tea. And have one of the birds under a tent. Other tents with sides rolled up -- mechs working on an engine on stand in a corner... So what's the dope on the prop change? Guessing the coarser pitch is to work on water.
Max, Happy anniversary! Or as Col. Potter from M*A*S*H call it, "The Armistice with Mrs. Potter!" And Happy Birthday! Now for fun multiply 93,000,000 times PI. Now multiply that by your age. That is your milage around the sun! Side note, some years ago I built Revell's 1/48 scale model of the Spirit of St. Louis. Last night I was watching Jimmy Stewart in The Spirit of St. Louis. Just as Jimmy is checking his fuel before takeoff the DVD QUIT! I am working with Amazon to get that corrected. BUMMER!
@@klsc8510 Well, canon-wise Superman did it first, so for a 1st Gen Trekker audience it was acceptable sci-fi deus-ex-machina that by counter-rotating the Earth's orbit, one can go back in time, if the right velocities are achieved. When the show aired most Trek-fans were likely Superman comic fans earlier or at least familiar with the quantum mechanics of Space and Time.
Those magnificent men and they’re flying machines. Thanks, Max. Happy anniversary and happy birthday early! Diorama looks great! ✌🏻. You have a talent, 😎
Happy 19th Wedding Anniversary an Birthday Max. on the cruizers how did you do the rigging on the biplanes I am working on the 1/70th Martin Bomber biplane by Glencoe an trying to figure does one do the rigging before gluing the wing struts to gether or after? Hey, if I can lap myself a couple times orbiting the Sun; can I use that Delta-V to manipulate space and time like in DC Comix?
@@HootOwl513 I know nothin' about nothin' when it comes to DC Comix. I am a Trekie!

Oh my god, the horrors!, The humanity of it all! LOL
Curious why you call it the TARBIS when the Dr Who universe called it the TARDIS? Is it for "STRIKE" reasons? If so 👍👍
