- "Farther and Further" can be used interchangeably or indistinctly when we talk about DISTANCE.
- "Farther and Further" can also be used interchangeably or indistinctly when we talk about DIRECTION.
BUT;
ONLY "Further" can be used when we talk about "to a greater extent" or when we talk about "more" of something.
"Further" can also be a verb or function as a verb and in that case it means "to advance"
