That's the beauty of acting! I have been taking acting classes for Tv and film and the casting director was saying how you don't want to separate yourself too much from the character, otherwise you won't be able to connect and it will feel less authentic. While there are still many differences between actors and the characters they play, they can always find similar personality traits and experiences to relate to the character!

T.R. left because he was unhappy that George wasn't developing any further and he wasn't an important character. The thing with Isaiah Washington happened a couple years before he left, I believe. So it wasn't the networks decision. But I miss his character so much
yeah, like in the most brutal way a perfect and kind hearted man could die. He decides to join the army because of Owen Hunt and takes a day off to say goodbye to his mom. He's at the bustop, He jumps in front of the bus to save some stranger he saw there and gets dragged by the bus for a while. His face is completely mashed up and everything. The hospital people don't know it's him on the bed and keep asking for him. And I'm not joking. All of that really happens.
