Edit: ceebee saying that is like seeing a cat website say "Cats are the best animal!" instead of going on a website with true information with facts.
It's justifiable in this case. Other ST members have elaborated that scratch cat is suppose to be anything you want and you have full creative dictation over as many scratch cats as you'd like. If someone thinks scratch cat is a girl, they'd be just as accurate as if they call him a boy because that's what they want the cat to be.
