      Yeah the Crave has a lot going for it. I have a few more up my sleeve to do on this. Mainly around performance, because at the end of the day it is a performance synth I reckon.

    Brilliant video. Can't thank you enough. All the other beginner vids seem to assume you already know how to use the crave. This REALLY is the business. Learnt more in this video than 20 others. Thanks!👍

    Excellent video! Thank you for taking the time to do this. I'm picking one of these this week and looking forward to getting my teeth into it.
    Could i ask, does the DIN MIDI out send the sequencer signals out to drive another device or is it just a thru/bypass? Also i see there is a line out, that 3.5mm one, is that stereo or mono output? Sorry for the barrage of questions!

    • @DocBolus
      @DocBolus  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To be honest I haven't tried to drive an external synth with the onboard sequencer, but it is an interesting experiment. When I get some time back I might have a play with that.
      As for the output, there is a VCA/line output in mono and a stereo headphone out.
      Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

      @@DocBolus nice one! I'm thinking I might try doing the usb midi out to drive my wasp and then have the thru midi from that running into my c64 midi interface. So many choices! Anyway, cracking channel, glad I found you! Keep up the good work

      @@classic_adventure Cheers appreciate the love. It's been a bit neglected over the last couple of years as real life has got in the way. Give it a year or so and I will have got some stuff done and be able to get back to some serious playtime.

    What effects are you using ?

    • @DocBolus
      @DocBolus  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is just a smidge of reverb from the Phonic Helix board mixer. It is a bit dry on it's own but that should not put you off.

      @@DocBolus Oh, ok, I felt a bit of chorus too

    • @DocBolus
      @DocBolus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not as far as I know, to be honest the effects were just on the channel I plugged into, but I very rarely use chorus so it is unlikely. Will do the next video with the Crave completely dry.

    can you save patches on the crave? because on thomann website says it does. maybe the 2022 model can save patches? thanks

    • @DocBolus
      @DocBolus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I am aware you can't save patches, mainly because some of the patches involve having physical cables routing inputs and outputs. You can save sequences on the sequencer though.
