The range of salaries given to TEs is not large enough. If Brock Bowers is as good as people have said, expect a playoff win this year.
Joel Klatt got every single top Qb team correct except for Penix (but nobody saw Atlanta taking that risk at 8). As a Oregon fan I hope I'm wrong but Denver absolutely took Bo Nix way to high, they were probably better off trading up to the top of the 2nd round or bottom of the 1st round and picking him there.
As an Eagles fan I'd love Wiggins at #22; he's the best cover CB in the draft. The Eagles live in the trenches in the first round, though. If this were the board at their pick they would run the pick up there, and it would be JC Latham. He could beat out Tyler Steen at RG, Steen would be a swing OT, and Latham could be an All Pro RG or take over RT when Lane retires.
First off thank you for taking an o-lineman for Pitt, you seem to be the only one addressing their biggest need. Now I think Miami might go Barton from Duke instead since they lost their Guard, and Barton can play any role on the line. Just my thoughts.
The Titans definitely need a LT. If Alt is there, we have to take him unless we get a really good deal. If he’s not, I’d be happy with either of the top 3 WR’s. I know O line isn’t sexy but ours was absolute trash last year.

Agreed Alt would be a great add for the Bears. Odunze would have been nice but he‘ll probably be gone. And Bowers that’s awful high for a TE who is built kind of slight and may be prone to injuries. So yeah fine with Alt or if he’s gone trade down and get Fautanu or Fuaga and with that extra pick some nice Edges around that 45 spot Trice, Kneeland or Issac.
#9 The Jets signed M Williams to play wr2 and Lazard is a Rodgers fav to play wr3, they have 33 year old Morgan Moses at RT. I see no reason why they would pass on Alt with Rodgers coming off a season ending injury
Understand the reasoning, but I don't like us moving up for JJ McCarthy. Don't think we should be in a rush getting him. If he's there at #11, I still wouldn't pick him (get BPA DL/ED instead or trade back) but I'd be more ok than giving up both rd. 1 picks for him. Let's see. SKOL! EDIT post 1st rd.: Ok, we moved up for JJMcC, but just one spot, so I'm fine. But getting Turner at #17 is close to perfect and (hopefully) a steal.
Agree about the Steelers taking a lineman, but I don't like the risk that comes with how many injuries he's had and how little he's played. Latham seems like a much better choice if he's there
Any chance the Giants trading up to the 4th spot to take JJ? The AZ Cards will be happy to take either Rome or Malik in addition to a couple of future picks.
Guys the only competition for trading with SD is between MN and NYG (and I don't think NY is really thinking QB- I think they want one of these dynamic WRs). No way Harbaugh is trading JJ to the Raiders or Broncos (in his own division lol). If he's trading that pick, it's to a NFC team, and definitely not one in the AFC West.
21:53 the problem with the Penix to Miami conversation is that klatt always mentions what penix does great (in his OPINION),deep ball accuracy, for the reasoning he'd thrive in Miami. When in reality, the dolphins offense isnt built on typical sideline deep passes like what penix did at Washington but Middle of the field timing throws. Thats not something Penix has shown he can do on film

He was at the Michigan Spring Game. Shocker
He and Colin Cowherd are Harbaugh fan boys and Michigan fan boys
It was on Fox. He was the commentator for the broadcast.
Great Mock , I would lose my mind if Dejean goes to the Lions.
Joel has good instincts on the lions, Cooper seems like the prototype of a Dan Campbell guy.
Lunch pail guy. High motor. The type of guy you’d let date your daughter

You are absolutely right, my man. No way Howie passes on Latham if he’s still available at 22. Not a chance. Go Birds 🦅
Klatt is the man!
I like his analysis.
Pure football talk, no fluff.
Brian Thomas Jr to the Bengals is crazy if JC Latham, Mims, Johnny Newton, and Fautanu are all available..
I couldn’t agree more
What if they trade Tee tho?
@@tmal3422 I guess that depends on what they get I don’t see them trading tee at all bengals are synonymous for not giving into trade demands from players
@@tmal3422 Let’s see it happen first and then maybe but I don’t see them trading him. They have a great player under control and will need to be blown away by an offer.
@@csc102tjch but they also don’t pay everyone and still gotta pay chase. Thomas is a cheaper replacement with the same size and more speed for Joe.
I think people will be surprised at how fast the Tackles fly off the board
Agreed Alt would be a great add for the Bears. Odunze would have been nice but he‘ll probably be gone. And Bowers that’s awful high for a TE who is built kind of slight and may be prone to injuries. So yeah fine with Alt or if he’s gone trade down and get Fautanu or Fuaga and with that extra pick some nice Edges around that 45 spot Trice, Kneeland or Issac.
I have Latu ahead of Verse. .. Verse to Tampa .... Newton to Buff makes sense, even though I do have them taking WR Mitchell
Chargers not trading out lol. Herbert to nabers for 10 years
2 number ones they will!
I think they'll trade. Harbaugh would take Bowers and Lathum over Nabers in a second.
this is gona happen exactly the best mock draft ❗️
#9 The Jets signed M Williams to play wr2 and Lazard is a Rodgers fav to play wr3, they have 33 year old Morgan Moses at RT. I see no reason why they would pass on Alt with Rodgers coming off a season ending injury
"If they stay Pat. See what i did there?"🤣
Understand the reasoning, but I don't like us moving up for JJ McCarthy.
Latham seems like a much better choice if he's there
Penix to the Raiders reminds me of my Jamarcus Russell PTSD.
The Klattser!!!!
The seahawks line is bad. Mike McCarthy is gonna want to run the ball like Harbaugh. He's probaly gonna take a tackle.
Excellent Job 👏👏👏
