I think pretty much every team would enjoy plugging him into their rotations (I know my Bucks would love that). I don't care if he doesn't live up to the arbitrary expectations the media imposed onto him when he was a teenager. He's still a solid contributor on a good team at age 21, and it's clear his numbers are down because the team is actually good now

If he can pick up some ball handling and passing (even just smart passes/playing lanes) he could be a third or even second option on a contender. Scoot Henderson idk, we’ll see. He might be a good role player in time kind of like Russ and his role with the nuggets and the jokic system. Potentially a starter, but he really has to develop outside shooting, guards are virtually unplayable if they can’t shoot. If he becomes a defensive stopper then there’s definitely more there. Moody I feel like is going to be an average role player throughout his career. He’ll play off intangibles and make smart plays and if he’s even average on defense that’s all you’d want in a role player, but max a decent starter but that’s a maybe (he’ll have to show more consistency and growth).

We have to come up with a consensus on how we judge a player to be a bust because Jabari is starting on a really good Western Conference team and if he would have went to Orlando would be getting more shots and probably averaging 20 plus. Houston is not team where he will have a lot of touches. You can't call a player a bust just because he has not been the fantasy version of what we thought. A lot of team would glad take Jabari on their team easily. Scoot needs a shooting coach ASAP. I think that will open up his game.

Moody literally just needs to get freaking playing time from Steve Kerr. That's it. He's got all the tools and the impact numbers are skewed because of the lineups he's being played in. He was positive on-off last year when he was getting comparatively more consistent minutes. But Steve Kerr has never given him enough minutes to give him the opportunity to produce as much as he's more than capable of. Ask any warriors fan about it, and you'll figure out that almost universally this fanbase has been begging Kerr to give Moody and Kuminga more playing time like most every other lottery pick gets. For example, against the nets Moody came in at the end of the first half and had 10 quick points in under four minutes. Moody had 15 points in about 8 and a half minutes in the first half and was a huge spark off the bench. So did Steve Kerr reward the good play and hot shooting with more minutes like every other rational coach would? Of course not! Moody's reward for scoring 15 points in just under 9 first half minutes was to play 7 more minutes the rest of the game and only get one more shot all game after he shot 6/7 and 3/4 from 3. Imagine if MPJ caught fire and hit four straight threes to end the half. Now imagine coach Malone icing MPJ out the rest of the game and benching him for basically the entire fourth quarter. Dog, LINDY WATERS has averaged more minutes per game than Moody despite shooting worse and averaging fewer points while also being a worse defender. Moses should have been playing 20-25 minutes a game since year two like every other player taken where he was drafted that's been as dependable and consistent as Moody has been. Kerr has really mismanaged the development of Moody and Kuminga and now both are like a year or two behind where they should be all cause Steve Kerr wasn't patient enough to just let them play

I’d still draft Scoot with that pick. He started having some good games at the end of last year while hitting 3s some games and he started to have very good connections with Deandre Ayton. He’s missed a good bit of time with injuries and has had to play behind anfernee Simon’s. If I was the blazers GM I’d be pushing Anfernee to get a lot of empty points to give him good numbers (since the team is losing anyway) to get his trade value up and trade him and let scoot play and fail until he eventually gets better. And if he does truly end up being a bust welll atleast they always got Shaedon sharpe if scoot doesn’t work out lol

I think moody is just a slow'er learner than others. I like his game. We he starts to push the action he becomes a little clumsy, but TBH I would rather have Moody, that Kuminga. I think Moody has a high role player ceiling than Kuminga. kuminga wants to be THE star and his skill isn't there yet and maybe never will be.
