What of the system that failed him? Did he not complain about this? What happened? It is a system failure. EVERYONE and everything failed that boy. He even went further, singing it in his song, yet no one was hearing him. He was fighting a battle that was too big for him, and no one helped him. I feel so terrible because of this.

That a woman leaves the husband doesn’t mean she has totally abandoned the child. So far the close relationship between Imole and his mum shows that they always had a relationship if she wasn’t in his life he wouldn’t take care of her the way he did. He may have stayed with the father but always saw his mum regularly. All I see from this interview is that the mum was careless with his destiny especially when good money started coming in. Her story started when she said a prophet told her not to terminate Mohbad pregnancy because he was a glorious son who would work for God and said the world would know him too. Mohbad did not have a happy life and she never knew Naira until he signed his son. She also said, she always goes to Naira's house to check on the boy but the boy is not always happy. They beat the boy always. She said, she even wanted to take his son from there but the boy said, she should not worry because he just signed 3 years with them. That after 3 years, everything will be alright. She also said the son told her never to eat in Naira Marley's house they wanted to kill her. It's a sad story. Very sad story.
