Something these "guide" videos seem to gloss over is how the mastery system actually WORKS. You get the benefit of "mastery effects" (small nodes) ONLY for the weapon you are actively wielding. "Mastery skills" (large nodes) work for both your active weapon, and when you use a weapon skill for the other weapon. So swap to whichever weapon you want the passives for - it's pretty much the whole reason that mechanic exists (since otherwise you can use all weapon skills all the time).

Hi Aragon! Can you have 2 different weapon mastery trees with 1 weapon, but on 1 character? So for example, the daggers, 1 weapon tree with points into disguise and assassination. And another weapon tree with your daggers where you put points into poison and assassination. And this on 1 character. Grts

i have 1 question, if i have greatsword and dagger, do the dagger mastery levels work when i have my greatsword as main weapon? or does it have to be your main weapon for the mastery stats to apply?
@@Aragon- Thanks for the answer, i just switched to daggers as main hand but i noticed i walk faster, so probably the 5% increased movement speed from dagger mastery does not work when having greatsword in main hand then? or do daggers just make you move faster even without the 5% increased speed mastery stat

Keep hearing that toxic mega- guilds are ruining the game for everyone by monopolizing contrnt and PvP grief killing anyone who isnt with them. I havent played much, but I hope its not true.
Probably like any other pay to win game with pvp. I say pay to win because while you can get everything free you can outright buy with the auction house(premium currency). This game probably has a bit more for pvp than other mmorphs, just avoid all pvp things unless it’s your thing. And the pvp people are definitely the ones funding the game.
Aragon, I understand that you are offended by Neverwinter. It's a shame for you that everything turned out this way. Me too. If you look at the truth, the answer is obvious, the game was killed. The benefits are so small it's not really worth switching active weapon all the time. They will be reworking the system, so we will see then

Will you only get the mastery bonus while you have that particular weapon in hand or will the bonus from both apply all the time?
Both do get exp but the active one you use the most, gets a bit more

I signed a bunch of tower contracts and I can't kill the bosses and I can't drop the contracts
hmm, get to 2,000 combat power and level your blue weapons to max, follow a good skill setup and you should be able to do it
@@Aragon- contracts are for the very last floors so it's gonna be a while. I wish you could drop them so I could run the abyssal dungeon contracts

You’ve probably already figured it out or beat them but if you go to the actual quest menu you can abandon them

yes it works, unless the mastery bonus is like "ranged damage boost" from crossbow and you use a dagger, it won't work for the dagger.

you might just be feeling like you move faster cause the animation?
You are right, you only get the benefits from the weapons you are weilding. So the 5% move speed, is only when using the daggers

need level 50
you need training dew from contracts. it should let you at level 20
There is an item in your inventory to use. It expires daily if you do not use it. Look for Dews. Those increase your weapon mastery.
Does the exp boost books work when you use the dew??

It's more like pay for early progress, eventually even the most f2p will have the same gear. You win, until the server catches up.
If you have a problem with guilds dominating a server, and you can't join those guilds, you can always move to another server
