I love my Pixel 7a, but lots of people are saying that the regular 7 is better for only $100 more or less (depending on the sale). However, I do like my pixel 7a more because it has a wider angle camera, longer software support, slightly bigger battery (even though the 7 has faster charging), slightly more durable with plastic instead of glass back, and I saved the $100 to buy accessories like a good case and screen protector. Not to mention no reliability problems ( I heard the regular pixel 7 buttons has been falling off in some reports & randomly cracked camera lens)

true! I actually know someone who took the 7 out of the package and buttons fell off.

I've had both had the 7 in November but took it back because of fingerprint scanner didn't work and kept over heating just got the 7a and so far it's been 😃 ,also have a iPhone 14 pro max but the pixels camera is so much better

The 7 might be technically better but the 7a is a little smaller, lighter, has less camera bump and that will be the sole reason some people (myself included) choose to buy it over the 7.

Just got my 7a this week and pretty happy so far. It replaced my Galaxy S10e which still feels a bit more "flagshipy" but obviously isn't as powerful on the inside. Activating the Smooth Display mode (90 Hz) definitely makes a difference...

Google will ditch the Samsung chip in 2025 - two models away. So my 7a is good for now and next update in 2 or 3 years will be a better chip. Still, that's a picky point and it's generally fine for now.

Great review Kyle My parents got me the Google Pixel 7a for a early Christmas present. I absolutely love my new phone my last phone was a motorala but I had volume issues with that phone not with my Google Pixel 7a it has a great camera for photos & videos... I don't get the hate for the battery life I think it's great I like that it has wireless charging for the price... I like how smooth the phone is threw the internet and the apps I have installed... It's a great phone. I have no issues with my Google Pixel 7a it is awesome... 10/10

Great review buddy. Love my Pixel 7a. I actually prefer a smaller phone too. 6.1" is great, a touch smaller would be better. I don't like all these phones that are like bricks. I've come from a 6.7" phone, way too big IMO. Sound, camera, features, ergonomics are all fantastic. Also I have zero issues with the fingerprint sensor, which was a criticism in some reviews. Some even said they couldn't get it to work.

As per GSM Arena and others the Pixel 7a has been universally panned for having poor battery life. I don't game, stream, vlog, etc. But after receiving the Android 14 and perhaps doing some battery saving tips can you confidently still say the battery life would last well up to 12 midnight or beyond ? (Thinking of getting either thile 7a or the older 6a with a bigger battery capacity)
