TALLEST SAND DUNES IN EASTERN U.S.:JOCKEY'S RIDGE STATE PARK, OUTER BANKS (4K)

Jockey's Ridge State Park in Nags Head, North Carolina in the Outer Banks, features the tallest active sand dune system in the northeastern United States. The sand dunes can reach 80-100 feet high and in the summer, the sand can reach a temperature of 140° F/60° C.
