Bro I don't even care that she did my girl Aoi like that. Sone Miyuki is the best yandere waifu there is. She has so much depth as a character. This is why totono is my top three favorite games. It's so well written and the characters are so flushed out you can't even make a valid argument on any of its flaws. Personally tho... I saw no flaws whatsoever. It's really a perfect game imo. Damn I love this game.
@@WillardProductions that was fast, im still in school so i cant even if i wanted to (maybe i could install my save and the game into a school computer though)
After hearing about Axanael in this video I tried looking it up and I only found out it was made before Y&M&H by around 3 years. I can't find anything else on it though. If this was a full game could anyone tell me what it was/is basically because I'm curious and can't find much else of it anywhere. (also if you know where I could find the full game somehow?) Thanks in advance.
What's funny about this is that BOTH Miyuki and Aoi are waifus to me, so in my situation, i'd be dating both of them at the same time and Miyuki would have no reason to be angry at me lol
This is fine and all but why did the dev even include all these dialogue. We all know that we finish the game in a day or few days, or maybe a month if you took a long break. Maybe the dev thought that these easter eggs were clever. In my opinion, it's not funny or clever at all. The story went from fun, slice of life with two beautiful girls to a RNG hell loop that ask you to repent your sins(for picking Miyuki first then go for Aoi). It feels like the dev just want to fuck with you instead. I would've been perfectly fine with the story if there was no Miyuki Hell loop. And Aoi was just a normal girl who had family issues and that's why she stays at the net cafe. Although that is also out of question because that wouldn't explain how she got all the money to stay there. I also wouldn't want the truth to be that she's been whoring herself to earn money to escape her family either. The fact that Aoi is an AI girl(close to robot) that act as a cupid or amalgamation of heroine in visual novels makes me detest the writing a little. DDLC had the same plot hole like Totono as well. We never learnt what Monika poems was about and what she was up to until Act 1 was over. We also never learnt how she became a god of the world and alter the universe. All these just tell me one thing. The devs just want to fuck with us. Nothing more. Bad writing is when you construct a plot first and then breaks it later on, making you suffers from Araki Syndrome.
That's the point, the totono devs are trying to fuck with us. This is not necessarily a bad thing. The main point is to make us get all the feels: Guilt, anger, sadness, etc. Why? Because they want to do a twist on the visual novel medium. We all go back and do all the different routes in visual novels like nothing ever happened. Not this time though. What if they knew about the game world? What if they acted like the player? Miyuki is betrayed and devastated by being lied to constantly (2nd playthrough/Aoi route she constantly asks if you believe in true love, and that she trusts you), Aoi cucks us to get all the cg (typical vn player finishing all the routes) which she lies about and devastates us (well I was devastated lol, fuck that scene). The main story is interesting but not particularly great as a normal VN, but I wouldn't mind some more Yuutarou lol. I'm sure we'd all like them to get a happy ending but it's just not what the game is about. As for the character of Aoi, she is bugged. The whole world is bugged. The matchmaking thing isn't great, I agree. However, as a normal character, it's probably meant to be more vague and not so direct. Take Sekai from School Days, she plays matchmaker as a way to cope and isn't as pushy as a robot lol. So Aoi would probably be more like that. Remember she even had to patch Miyuki to make her even able to be romanced, the whole world is fucked. Aoi shouldn't exist in that form. Aoi is every heroine in every visual novel, so her personality is always different but this time it was just bugged and she went full robot. Aoi literally electrocutes herself to death at the end of the Miyuki route. She is bugged as fuck. You know, she's got the spirit but she's a little different rofl. She has the appearance of Super Sonico so she would probably be a way different person and a normal girl but this world is just messed up unfortunately. We come to get an idea of that pretty early. She would surely be WAY different if it was a normal story. None of that social outcast stuff I'm sure. Cuz super sonico is an idol lolll. As for the easter eggs? The game is all about 4th wall break and the game has limited story replayability, so they went this route instead. Making all these hidden scenes is really cool, worth checking out, and gets attention for the game. If a player is to discover one hidden scene, they'll try to discover all the others. Back in 2013/2014 a JP clip of not seeing Miyuki for 10 years blew up I remember. Stuff like that is just fun I think. Most visual novels without replayability aren't great so this is their way of making it worth replaying. Totono is shorter than average too. It's okay not to like the story but I don't think the writing is bad. They don't want to make us feel bad for playing visual novels, just change the perspective and say fuck you. Which sounds dumb but they do a good job at it. Others might not think that is fun, but I think it's fun. Totono has its flaws but the devs do a good job of accomplishing their goal. I mean, seriously, go look at Miyuki's dialogue in Aoi route. It's funny how they make us lie to her without even realizing it.
@@WillardProductions What I love about Totono is the rooftop scene in the game. It feels like a lot of inspiration is drawn from the rooftop, seeing all the key events happens on rooftop(confession, bonding, title screen). I thought that was very unique, so unique that you can't find it anywhere in other visual novel.
@@angelwater8987 Subahibi also had most of the key events happen in the rooftop. But If you don't like mind-fuckery, you probably shouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole.
