I love how the whole purpose of these trials is for the entity to feed through sacrifices and Myers just doesn't give a shit and murders people on his own.

There is actually something in the dbd lore that explains what would happen if Michael refused to kill for the entity. There’s a place in the fog known as The Void, and it’s where broken survivors and killers are thrown to spend all eternity once they don’t have anymore emotions to give, once they’ve gone numb from endless torment. Or if they’re a killer that won’t kill anymore.

1 year ago i was playing killer and chasing the most toxic claudette ever. Like full on cringy ochido fanboy. She died because she teabagged me at the exitgates and i had noed. Hooked her before she could ragequitt.

What makes this all the more terrifying is his goals. He doesn’t do this to win. He does it to find the slowest, most painful and hopeless way of slowly breaking their minds.

A funny story, as a killer main I tend to get a good understanding of how most killers work by watching videos and I never knew myers could be played this way. A few days after seeing a video like this I tried to get a friend to try dbd and we encountered an AFK myers and he was looking at him dead in the eyes. I immediately realized what the myers was doing and I yelled at my friend to run. Didn’t yell in time and he was the first to go. That crap was like a horror movie and I was laughing so hard because of it.
Fun fact: According to in-game lore, Myers is the only killer that wasn't invited, but rather just brute-forced his way into this realm.

Generally, when Myers is afk for long periods of time like this you can assume two things. They are in the middle of a time consuming thing and forgot about DBD, or they are up to something sinister...apparently no one expects the second thing anymore.

@@gen1491 Which is crazy that players don't know. Devs need to create tutorials for all killers. Also have no idea why they haven't implemented a training mode that lets players face AI killer or survivors(with an easy, medium, and hard mode). I don't think it would happen though. Many people have asked for this on the DbD forums.

Remember. In DBD lore, Myers wasn't even summoned to the realm of the Entity. He simply showed up. The entity has no reason for him to be there, but he is there, purely because he is more powerful than the entity. He can do as he likes, nobody can stop him, not even the entity.

What doesn't make sense is that when Myers goes up another tier
there is a sound cue so these survivors are idiots for thinking you're still AFK.
I’m bad with sound cues I don’t know what a lot mean but I’m still relatively new ish

Not to mention, sound cues can be hard to pick up on for some people. I'm autistic and struggle to focus on all the noises in the game, because they all blend together.

A lot of people miss sound cues in this game if it isn't chase music or a heart beat.
His sound cue is pretty faint, but it’s the Halloween soundtrack for gods sake. I can recognize that from even the softest sound

Honestly this is the most lore-friendly/canon way to play him because in the original Halloween it took so long for Michael to kill any of the main characters and he'd stalk his prey but not do anything until the climax and that's what made him so scary...the suspense waiting for him to do anything but he just won't and when you think he's going to kill some one early...he doesn't but could've done so so easily.

Of course the Entity has no power on Myers. He is evil, the purest form of evil. He isn’t like any other mortal turned into a killing machine because of some unexpected event, he was born as a killing machine. The Entity probably took him because even if it doesn’t like his methods it’s certain that Myers will never let a survivor alive if he has a chance to catch him. Myers creates fear into the survivors and once they faced him they will feel this primal fear of evil forever and they will have a better taste during their next trials

This one time I had a Myers who clearly didn’t know how to play the game very well, never used his stalk and would just watch us from afar and never chase. Honestly one of the funniest things and it made me realise that going against a Myers is either the funniest thing or absolutely terrifying.

You know, when you think about it, he's afk for most of the movies.
This reminds me of a game where I went against a killer with the Steam name: "Shy Myers"
Basically, we did most of the gens before figuring out who the killer was. We swore at first they were AFK but we looked EVERYWHERE. Every square inch of the Macmillan map with the water tower was combed thoroughly, until about 2 gens left someone said on the call: "Oh shit its a Myers! I saw him peaking at me in a jungle gym"
So after finishing the gens we all joined the chase. Yes. We chased him. He tried his best to escape us but it was no use with 4v1. Eventually when we got him cornered, he started lashing out. We thought he was just playing so we paid it no mind. That is, until he popped Tier 3 and proceeded to start slugging us. Thing is, he stopped whenever we left him alone. He never chased. So we'd get ourselves healed back up, chase him again, farm the points for Altruism, repeat. At some point we decided to leave the poor man alone and dip.
God I miss that Myers.

Bruh i'm dead, a few days ago i came across a Myers who faked being afk, I was doing the last gen not far from him with a teammate and I had a very bad feeling about this lmao. we popped it, he suddenly started moving and downed all four of us with noed
Merri Lee Lol had a myers that did this but I made sure I cleansed all the totems. I saved all 3 of my teammates. If it wasn’t for me cleansing totems we all would have died. I knew what he was doing. I never trust any afk killer especially Michael, but randoms will milk them for chase points or tea bag when really they should have taken advantage and gen rush complete totems to leave the game.
If ever two gens get done without an injury, I'm immediately on totem duty. No exceptions.

I thought you got that from reading “I don’t see your point?” 😩👍👍🤧😊 My fault for not making it clearer 🙃. I’m more into honest chase to get points, but people have different ways of hunting survivors 😂😂. Maybe it’s because you’re being a smart hunter, and I’m not 🤣. I only thought from the survivor’s perspective and thought it would be unfair to trust a hunter and have them backstab you. And not the hunter’s POV, I know its hard to catch anyone sometimes + with survivors being toxic nowadays I get why you would do so.. sorry again 🤗👋
