Hi! Could you maybe also test the mono compatibility of both plugins? Because I think thats a main feature, that you don’t lose any sound in mono, compared to other stereo plugins. At least that’s what I understand. Haven’t tested it yet.
Totally agreed about mixing into the plugin, I found the same thing, it adds a fair bit of highs and high mids, but as long as you keep it on your 2 bus from the beginning, I think that's actually a feature and not a bug. Pretty amazing sounding plug.
@adamcoe True, it's an amazing plugin. I've often thought of buying the hardware before this was released. Now, I'm more curious how the hardware will be compared to the plugin. 💯
Great I think I like something about both anyways . I noticed how focus the digital v3 but again the big is cool and it really lifts the to end of the mix . I would used one over the other based on the context of the mix
SPL Big sounds better, I put it at the end of every track and on the master, now the 3D impression is so good that you have the feeling that some of the sounds are in the middle of the room, or behind you, all sounds were made with Xfer-Serum. It is particularly noticeable with drum and bass. A tip for everyone, don't listen to any TH-cam videos from s̶e̶l̶f̶-̶p̶r̶o̶c̶l̶a̶i̶m̶e̶d̶ professionals who want to get clicks and money, see for yourself. SPL Big is unbeatable.
@MatthiasLindemann-hp2zr Do you see how silly you sound? You are here giving a tip for people not to listen to self-proclaimed professionals, as we are after clicks and money, but why are you here then? You are not even following your own tip. Obviously, you've bought the plugin and want to justify your purchase, which is valid, but don't throw shade at others. On my video, I never said the plugin is ba, but all it does can be achieved with BX digital and a bit of mid/side EQ.
@@ZanyPro I mean what I said, people should watch it themselves and form their own opinion. BX doesn't come anywhere close to BiG. SPL BIG was released 4 days ago, your video was released 3 days ago, one day later. You can't have tested SPL BIG enough to really publish an opinion on it.
@MatthiasLindemann-hp2zr That's better. People should watch and form their own opinion. We can agree or disagree as you know music tastes differ. But I never force my opinion on anyone if you look through all my reviews. I only give my opinion, which, of course, is not a gospel. That's why I encourage people to always try a plugin in their own projects before making a decision.

I will check that. I know the mono maker is supposed to also help in that regard.
@@ZanyPro Thx! :)

I tink if you tweak the bx a little in the mids and highs, the result is much closer. However, the song is cool.
Drum boooos :)
@brianmartin Yes sir, and Mix boooos 😎

@@mixbygygyondbeat1295 Very true. Both can be used interchangeably. 💯👍🏾

@MatthiasLindemann-hp2zr True, which is why I said above, "We can agree or disagree"
What was the song? It's killer!
@pavlemiljenovic It's a cover song by Ryan Morgan Music, Thanks. 🙌🏾
BX V3 is focused, while the Big is blurred. BX is a definite winner to my tastes, not even close tbh.
@NoQualmsTheArtist 🙌🏾👍🏾💯
The BiG adds depth. The V3 makes the mix sound like everything is in a flat line across the stage.
@@keithferris9574 there are plenty of ways to add depth without blurring the image.
Thanks for the comparison, just saved me from wasting my money on more plugins.
@Mike_Benz Exactly, many of these plugins do the same thing just in a different way.
@@ZanyPro Agree.
