  • Tunisia is home to the Northernmost point in Africa Cap Angela near Bizerte. I was told not to go there this time of the year but I'm glad I didn't listen.
    Let's spend the day exploring Bizerte, the old medina and Cap Angela.
    My name is Habiba, I'm a full-time adventure traveler on a mission to explore the world one trail at a time.

    I admire your courage as a solo female traveler I'm Tunisian but I would not go to cap Angela alone just with the taxi driver

    I feel like some countries I've been to have a lot of wild dogs, here there seem to be a lot of cats. Is there a reason for that? Is it similar to why cats were very prominent in Egyptian culture?
    Also, how cool is it that the cab driver took you out there and walked out with you? He seemed to be enjoying himself too!

    • @TrekkingPals
      @TrekkingPals  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of cats but I haven’t seen a lot of dogs. I’m not sure why there are a lot of cats here and it’s the same in the medinas of Morocco but people do take care of them and give them food and left over seafood in coastal cities.
      The driver was very kind and he also had a great time.

      naaaaaah , it is a dog genocide in some point tunisia had a major problem of wild dogs biting people so they killed alots of them and kept some.

    Hi , how much it cost for the fish dish in Bizerte ? Thks

    • @TrekkingPals
      @TrekkingPals  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You buy the fish separately and they cook it for you at the restaurant. I don’t remember the exact price.

      I highly recommend visiting. It’s a beautiful country. In terms of how it compares to Morocco, I’ll make a video to go into the details and share it this month.

      @@TrekkingPals Great I’ll be more than happy to see your point of view about this, I get people always asking me the same question about this as I’m Tunisian living in the us and my answer to that question is that there are some similarities but in the mean time it’s quite different.. I’ll look further for the video thanks again
