I bought your brush set and got your book for Christmas and my first painting was improved by 50%! It was a lot easier. Love the vids!
It's so inspiring to watch Mr Edwards use a brush - SO inspiring!
Wow, the first time I’ve actually clearly understood the stumbling technique. So simple. I thought stumbling was about smashing your brush onto the canvas! Not so! Thank you so much for clarifying all of these brush techniques. This was such a simple straightforward video I wished I watched a hundred videos ago!!!
Thanks! I primarily have used round brushes. I will certainly work more with flat brushes.
Just stumbled on to this and am grateful there are people like this man sharing their knowledge. Thank you.

Thank you Sir, for another super informative video. So helpful learning techniques to avoid constantly changing brushes during my painting.
Thank you very much for sharing this technique.
Scumbling is a word I was using for a sketch/shading technique and now I can see how wrong I was! Cool to see it done. Stipling and scumbling and Rigor brush, oh my.
awesommee, especially the thing with palm leaves :)!
This is wonderful, thank you! Please could you tell me what make of palette knife you are using? Thanks :)

Brilliant tips for beginners. Thnx.
Thanks for the video!
Great video.
Mr. Edwards, what kind of watercolor are you using? I notice that you have a watercolor kit, and this paint seems so rich in color and texture, none of mine is like that, not even the Chinese. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
tqvm...great

Which paper use
very useful advice, thanks for sharing some wisdom(^^)!
Me to my paintbrush : please you know I’m the only one that understands you brush, i can’t live without you. Are you going to leave me like this? I’m going to harm myself
The magic word for the day is Watercolor Blocks! Who uses them, and why don't others? Arches makes them!!! Is there a Voo-Doo curse by some Purist Watercolorists, that makes them stretch their paper and tape it? HELP!
You see, as a beginner, and retired BOEING Illustrator, I have a 20 pound pile of Arches and Strathmore 140 Lb. paper I purchased last holiday season, and a Book Binder willing to crop off the deckle, and cut it to my dimensions. He even sold me some wonderful Professional Latex book binding cement for making my BLOCKS! It looks a lot neater, and less cumbersome too, without all that mumbo-jumbo of throwing it in the bath tub and getting it right on the board! Am I jumping into a hornets nest by learning to paint on WC blocks for my painting experience?
digiphot2 I think you'll be fine. It's just that blocks cost more than large sheets of paper.
