- Israeli forces hiding in Gaza buildings were bombed by Palestinian fighters from Al-Quds Brigades while the IDF claimed that 50 gunmen were killed in the operations in Eastern Rafah which was cleared of civilians earlier this week. Several other militant groups including Hamas have claimed a series of attacks on IDF soldiers in Gaza. Watch the video for more.

Both Jew and Arab have seen this region as their homeland for thousands of years. Jews, Arabs and Christians live in Israel and don't seem to have had any major problems since 1948. Arabs sit as judges in Israeli Courts, there are Arab police, Arabs in the IDF and so on.

I think you will find that all Israeli troops previously stationed in Gaza, were withdrawn after Hamas were elected in 2005 - that was the point of the election - to provide Gaza with their own administrative set-up, their own Government.

In my view, the attack on 7/10/23 would not have succeeded or even started, if Israeli soldiers had been in Gaza....it is logical that any "occupying force" would have seen what was going on and nipped it in the bud.
Anyone from Gaza, flying into Israel proper, would have been subject to intense scrutiny and probably brought down. Likewise, any 'occupying force' would not have allowed a large number of trucks and motorbikes through any part of the border, would they? Think about it. (It is probable that the Israeli intelligence services would have obviated the threat before it gained traction anyway!)
That is why I don't buy the Hamas lie of "occupation". Gaza has not been occupied since 2005.
They should not use dry ground for launching mortars to avoid detection by drones. They should use wet ground or grassy land so that dust may not arise.
