Miles of forests, some long-abandoned copper mines, the ghost town of Delaware, and several bits of the Lake Superior shoreline that are named "Agate Beach" are all part of the attraction for us. One summer, near Delaware, we picked wild thimbleberries and made jam from them on the front porch of our rented cabin. Have you ever seen Estivant Pines? Are you from that area?
