So, you mentioned that each null is treated as a diff value, how can we remove duplicate null from a table? Because when we use the row_number() logic it won't keep the duplicate nulls in single partition, right?
Hello Ankit jee, i have scenerio that i have forex data table where i have some missing dates in a week and missing data for complete whole week in a month. I want to find all the missing dates in fact table and generate the data and fill the data from previous filled value. how can i achive
Hello ankit, I tried adding more rows will null values in them and then run the coalesce function but is returns only the first value in all 3 nulls instead of different values. Am I understanding it wrong? Here is my code : Select *, isnull(age,8), coalesce(age,9,10) from customer
Of course it will show the first value provided first value should be NOT NULL. Put First value as NULL and then see it will return 2nd value in coalesce
