I have a copy of this 45 in my collection (I think it came from one of my late father's friends). The song wasn't very popular (the Beatles and the British invasion were the rage at the time), but the lyrics speak to a lot of the feelings that Caucasians, especially white males, have then and now about their country and what their lives should look like. In addition, thank you for playing the song at the correct speed. I have heard it on CD, but it was maybe a half a beat or more too slow. Also, I liked the flip side of the record, "My Girl," (no, not the same song made famous by the Temptations roughly 9 months later).
