I've been skating for a bit, but something about watching a more experienced skater teaching the basics is just so nice.
Learned how to walk on skates by watching cowboy movies (yk how they walk, those exaggerated big v-steps) and implemented their style of walking to skating before learning the actual way, so now I got a hybrid cowboy skate walk style, looks kind of silly, but it works wonders since you're distributing your balance quite well

Hey so I bought a pair of bauer skates, I'm a size 7 so I bought a size 7 and they seem big, my foot move around alot in them not snug, so I bought a size 6 and they are snug around ankles but toes get squashed

@@doublemdespo2785 should I do laces to top or leave a few holes, also my skates hurt my ankle bone any think I can do to. Stop that. It rips open my ankles and it's painful

Don't tie as tight... But lace them all the way up... then try it with less holes, till you find your comfort zone... the Xtra socks should cushion a little more...
