I watched the video and then read the comments and was surprised that some people are disappointed with it. I enjoyed it so I wanted to give it some love. I thought it was great the way Jess presented herself in it! It just looked like she was having a great time, giving us some fun attitude and dancing to her own song with a big smile! But sure, the video didn't have any crazy new effects or new cinematic ideas. I think these days we expect a big WOW-factor from the big labels with music videos but it is still a great song and a fun music video. I did think many of the close ups were blurry though and I thought that was a little unprofessional but I enjoyed the old school simplicity. Love the song Jess! :)

So this is how we wake up, eh? Its the business of money. In music, you don't get any without visibility, and the only way to do that with an online platform is to be like America.
+Tim Roberts If you want to understand why, i posted some comments on Samantha Jade's YT collection, but you probably won't bother. A video on YT won't even gather an international audience if it doesn't top 10 million. A video from Australia is 15 times less likely to be seen population wise, so 15 times less likely to gather an international audience, and reach that 10 million magic marker. Not only that, YT for any other country than America, is not a primary source of exposure to new music. Its all about visibility, and YT is all about America. This, ofcourse, is your world to choose whether you use it or not, but you certainly can't confuse Google as being a truly #international brand. If they were serious about that, they would show your local country views in blue below the totes. And the new search analytics, i am sure you have noticed, while a positive for choice, impedes the social context of your own country's concept and reality of choice. So its either America, or just like it. Its all about visibility, and no one can compete with America, nor has such an absolute emphasis upon it. That is American culture, for American people. Show me the money?
