I know COD ghost wasn’t the most favorable Cod but it had some good sniping ngl
The USR was just fantastic I fuckin love that gun
Most of the snipers in that game felt so clean. I especially loved the USR. Although the L118 was pretty damn good too and some of the others were pretty fun as well. :)

I know everyone likes the intervention but the m40a3 from cod 4 was just as iconic and had a great firing sound like the intervention. Honestly my personal favorite cod sniper of all time.
Same thought here, i can definitely agree on intervention as nr1 but i do not agree on m40 as nr4

I’d say the SP-R is the best bolt action in MW2019. Better damage than the Kar, better fire rate, better reload speed.

The SPR is laughably low! In 6V6 you can snipe passively with the ammo conversations, you can snipe hyper aggressively with the short barrel and the stock with the faster fire rate of the interchangeable bolts, you can do long range snipers in Ground war and warzone with the norma mag. This gun isnt the jack of all trades. It's the master of all trades!

I love the type 38, put the iron sights on it and go around popping people and hear them raging through the mic it was awesome

Gotta say the ZRG in cw one shot anywhere on the person and best bullet velocity in its class.
It's a one shot to the waist up. Even when it released it was and it still is.
I was willing to accept the DSRs low placement due to the nerf, but the ballista over the MSR?! Monster.

The mors is technically a rail gun and he didn’t miss the level action from ww2 or the mk2 because they are level action, not bolt action.

Tbh, I’d put the MSR at 2 and Balista at 3. But obv the Intervention holds a special place in everyone’s heart 😍😍
The intervention is my favorite sniper in all of call of duty (its the same thing in cod mobile its called the DLQ33)

Where’s the MORS from Advanced Warfare?
i actually really liked the WZ.35, it was easy to use and was very forgiving in a way
it was hard to use but so rewarding
I can’t pick between the ballista and the intervention man, they’re both so great
The USR was so good and I would be super excited to see it return in a future title
Underrated especially considering it's from COD Ghosts, and relatively forgotten but an absolute beast no doubt

i think dragoon is the sniper that rewards a more skilled player, that why i use it in cod bo3, with locus its too easy ge kills

the sdk 9mm was completely broken compared to the other snipers from ww2. idk i think the late release of the gun made ppl not like it as much but it became my fav sniper in cod history after as50 from mw3 very fast.
I do think you put the AX-50 a bit too low. It still slapped even in 6v6 and it was the sniper of choice for more skilled snipers and any no respawn mode
In war zone anyway the hdr is better
@@jarlathquinn2628 personally i liked the ax50 more in warzone because it was more rewarding because of the lower bullet velocity and i hit better shots with the ax50 such as one time it downed someone form 800-950m
Ballista and MSR are tied for top 2 in my eyes but people that can use the intervention are nice asf. i wasnt too good with it
As someone whos played every cod since the first one. I knew the intervention would be the first spot but my number one bolt action sniper is hands down the M40A3

I think I enjoyed sniping the most on COD WWII in “recent years”. Most were viable weapons with trade offs.
The Widowmaker from Infinite Warfare had the strongest name game. Never enjoyed grinding sniper camos on the jet pack games!

The USR will always have a special place for me it was the first sniper I mastered.
I honestly wouldve changed the order of the top 3. First being ballista, second being msr, and third being the intervention. But maybe i just dont get the nostalgia most people do from mw2
Man the ax-50 is one of the best snipers people slump on that sniper
Honestly all these games had really great Bolt Actions. Bolt Actions are technically what started everything sniping in every CoD. They are substantially one of the best weapon categories in CoD history.
Pre patch dsr is the best sniper I've ever used. Pair that with the dual band and its over

I am very satisfied with the list but what about the Barrett 50. Cal from MW2?
i remember the invis+sniper combo in iw...didn't matter what sniper you used all that mattered was aim
MSR, Intervention and DSR 50 after so called nerf since I could no scope and quick scope with the cpu attachment.
Edit: These are my 3 favorite that felt good.
Unpopular opinion incoming regarding games and i will accept repercussions: Bo2 and cod ghost are my two favorite games cod has ever released. Coming in at 3 is mw2, number 4 is bo3 and number 5 is infinite warfare. The campaign’s of ghosts, infinite AND Advanced warfare were actually pretty amazing. The multiplayer was iffy but the campaign was where it was at. You may or may not agree and i understand what may be said following this comments post and i welcome it.

My favorite was the intervention style rifle on modern warfare 2
Yes the intervention is the most popular/iconic sniper. But you give me a balista in mw2 and I’m going 74-3

if we’re ranking all of the games for sniping by far the worst has got to be cold war, their slow and the ones that are fast are still slow and hit marker like crazy
The pelington and lw3 were amazing in the alpha but got a big nerf in beta and full release
same intervention is also a top tier sniper and no.1 on the mobile side of cod

KBS Longbow is one of my favorites I could always destroy with it in IW but I can barely snipe in any other cod
