Hi, thanks for posting the video. Great production! I was hoping to get a naked Mana with ABS but they're not available in our territory (UK). So the ABS option means going to the GT. I was initially a bit put off by the looks - reminds me of a very old school racing bike from the 70's but it's growing on me. Seems the perfect bike for my commute (35 miles each way across windy moorland come rain or shine or snow). Thanks again, very informative!
Ive had 2 mana 850gt abs..the 1st one was stolen and i saw the thief riding it 2 days after he stole it so I chased him till he crashed it.im on the 2nd one now a '12 model and they are so easy to ride.the way they're built makes them easy to handle.a nice change from my sportster which feels like a pig compared to it.I give a big thumbs up. ...
Hai..Karel. my name is Kerol Malik, I am a new owner of Aprilia Mana, The problem is selection gear didn't move to touring and sport gear, that means stay to Rain gear. What the action should I to do
One of the best, most fun bikes I ever had. The owner of Pro Italia drove one for years and he could drive anything. Fast, easy, storage area, they’re so much fun.
@@joelsloper530 I never had a problem with it in five years. Did all the service as required and it always ran like it was supposed to run. I can't recommend it enough.
@reallykarel I know this review is 10 years old so hoping you’ll still see this comment, but... Loved your review because I was torn between the 850 and 850GT and this sold me on the GT. I found one for sale for $4500 with 13K miles on it. Do you think that’s a decent deal? Has the GT held up miles-wise? Also is there any way to remove the windshield for everyday riding and perhaps reattach for any longer mileage trips? I wouldn’t do a ton of long distance but maybe twice a year do a trip from Los Angeles to the Bay Area. Hope you see this comment and can respond. Your review helped me a great deal! 🤘😛😎
Hi, I have a question for you.. .I have an Aprilia Mana 850 I love it so much you know what I mean. but I'm having trouble finding a good mechanic.. no one really works on these bikes. can you help me please. Also I'm looking to buy a second mana have any suggestions?
Find a good Vespa mechanic. They know about the Gilera 800 gp which is exactly the same engine you have on the mana. Speak to one of the mechanics and see if you can get them to work on your bike separately at his house or something - order your own parts on the internet from Italy. Good luck.
Thank You for your comments im a frail 55 year that want to start riding ,this was very imformative !
Love this bike.....got one three weeks ago....awesome

Dump the heavy stock muffler there are light aftermarket models make the bike sound much better
Great looking bike.
I was wondering. Is this motorcycle expensive to maintain?what are the costs associated with routine maintenance?

@@ReallyKarel I'm really interested to know if they are dependable if you do basic maintenance

Chief Wahoo I know this is a year old and you probably found somebody but did you try Pro Italia in Glendale?
@@TheMTZkids yes they're scared of this bike🤣🤣 the mechanic told me he has nightmares working on Aprilia Manas
How do you get to the battery on these things
I'm interested in these bikes. But, I'm 6' 5" tall. How tall are you?
Are you selling the other 850?
3:30 - i like nakid. LoL , so do i. good review!
just so you know you sound like a pedi saying it like that
ABS wont stop you from highsiding, you'll want traction control for that :)
ABS stops you from locking your wheels under heavy breaking....
Great bike but not reliable engine.
Luca Stere BS you must've bought a lemon or used and abused
Are you kidding the engine is the best part of the bike. One of the best rated engines on any bike in its class in fact
First off I think Karel's tongue gets in the way of his mouth. Karel...you are such a big bad motorcycle rider....NOT
