My favourite meme fact is Kharn's kill counter. Most Astartes have a tally in their helmet's visor which keeps count of their kills. They use it in fights for tactical purposes and then reset it for the next. Kharn the Betrayer, of the World Eaters, has never reset his from the first day of his "career". There is a moment in a book where Kharn is wondering whether his kill count being so big could reset the tally because it might have a number limit.
I don't think it's something every Marine has actually, in some passages from the books he talks about it like it's his own idea/addition to his display. In that same passage, it's also only at 23 yet (well by the end of the passage it's 30+) so it's safe to say it hasn't been counting every single kill he's made since he became an Astartes.
But there might be differing accounts, so maybe your version is either an older or newer rendition of that lore...

@@WillHouldy @void-creature You are both right, it's been written differently in different stories. But the kill-counter was a standard feature during the Heresy, but it no longer is during the 40k era, and Kharn has one of the last functioning ones.
