Very helpful!! This is exactly the video i wanted to see. I been having this pressure washer for a couple months already but never found a switch or anything to switch to the soap part so i just gave up.
Thank you for posting this video. The instruction manual is not helpful but you certainly are. I didn't realize how simple use the detergent tank was. Thank you agsin
I have to assume you use concentrate at full strength rather than mix it. Where is the book on this? Thanks for your time and effort. I think I’ll email Bauer and suggest they include instructions in their “book”.
I don't remember. I made this video a while ago. They make pressure washer soap, if I am out and don't want to go to the store, I have used car wash or liquid laundry detergent.
Speak a little louder in beginning of video due to background noise. Otherwise thanks for covering the soap issue. No one else so far has. I kept looking for a switch or valve to turn soap on and off. So do I understand that the soap only comes out with the black nozzle??
Sorry about that. I have looked at clip on microphones. I am better with tools than cameras. I having a hard time picking one. This was a quick video to answer a comment so I may try to reshoot it.
The simple line "The Black soap nozzle creates enough flow to draw your soap mix from the tank." Would have been nice at the end of adding 1 once of mix to a tank of water. Oh well, printed words cost. What is your favorite soap mix?
I have tried various cleaning agents for my pressure washer, including special pressure washer soap and liquid laundry detergent, but I did not notice a significant difference in their effectiveness. There are different types of power wash detergents available, each designed for specific surfaces such as grease, concrete, or decks. You can go wrong using the appropriate detergent for the job. In my experience, the turbo nozzle seems to have a greater impact on cleaning efficiency compared to the type of soap used.
It depends on what I am washing. They make soaps for pressure washers. I like simple green as it doesn't harm the environment but I have used laundry soap and dawn dish soap.
@@ShopRamblings i was told that the red is the only color that will take dirt of the sidewalk. What is this turbo nozzle and what is it used for and can u make a vid so i can see it
If you are, then so am I. I borrowed my neighbors pressure washer and could not figure it out after. I bought this one. I was still having problems figuring it out, after reading the directions. It was just with a little trial-and-error that I actually figured out how to do it. You can see the comments on this video. We are not alone. It is not a very intuitive process.
Mine is still working great. It is not as powerful as a gas powered but for washing the cars and around the pool it is powerful enough. With it being so light and easy to move around my wife will use it when I am not around so it gets used 10 more than my gas powered one.
Mine quit 2x on me. First time my paid 1 year warranty covered it. 2nd washer is sitting dead in my garage. 2 bad in less than 1 year. Advice. Prime motor like for 2 straight minutes before turning on switch
It is very easy to run these dry. When you stop spraying the pump stops. Then you unplug it and put it away. Then when you step it up the next time and plug it in the pump starts running as soon as you plug it in. It only takes a few seconds running a pump dry to burn it up. If you take the tip off it primes much quicker.
@@ShopRamblingsNot to step on anyones toes but I’ve found that starting from scratch like the pamphlet says, running all the air out of the hose before you plug it in and checking the circuit breaker works every time. In other words, treat each use like you did when you bought it new. Somewhat of a hassle but you won’t burn it up.
I'm having trouble with the red and green tips , they stopped working after I tried using the soap dispenser black nozzle. The white tip ended up working but idk what's going on now... do you or anyone know anything about this issue?
The tips are basicly just a hole. There is a taper that changes the size of the water fan. If you are getting pressure from one nozzle then the pump is good. Hold the nozzle up to a light, you should be able to see light through it. If not it mat be clogged. Sometimes you can rinse it out other times you may have to use a pice of wire to clean it out. Let me know if that works.
They got caught in a table saw. I sent the blades off the be resharpened and once I get the feeling back it will almost be like nothing ever happened. I think I put the one piece back on a little crooked but crooked is better than missing.
I HATE that feature!!!! I need a way to get my 2300psi Harbor Freight Pressure Washer to be able to hit my upper 2nd floor peaks WITH BLEACH CLEANER without having to be forced to use the silly black foaming nozzle which is useless for long range soft washing!!! Apparently ONLY the black nozzle allows for that built in cleaner container to operate!
I borrowed a friend sprayer and added laundry detergent. I thought I broke it. It doesn't seem very intuitive, but once you figure it out, it works great.
Yes, you are right, I work in an Emergency Room for my real job. I have seen an injection injury from a high power washer. They had to be seen out to a trauma center. His was defiantly not having an enjoyable day.
Exactly the information I needed! There was nothing in the owner's manual and I couldn't find a switch. Thank you for making this video!!!
Your welcome.
Thank you sir. Been watching so many reviews on these units and nobody explains how the soap works!
It took me a few to figure it out. I was looking everywhere for a switch.
It helped a lot of people i bet. Thanks a million for putting this out
You are welcome.
plain and simple explanation. That's exactly what I needed. Thank you for the video!!
Glad it was helpful!
OMG. So happy I found this. I've literally been turning the entire pressure washer upside down to empty out the tank.
I did the same thing when I borrowed one. I was freaking out thinking I broke it.
Well done sir. Quick and to the point. Thanks.
Glad to help.
Very helpful because I was wondering why the soap didn’t come out thx.
Yeah, it is not very intuitive.

I was the same way. Glad it helped.
Thanks!!!
Didn't see anything in the book about it.
Thanks again
It wasn't clear to me either.

i just purchased one today and was wondering about that! thanks

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! WHAT A GREAT VIDEO! I DIDN'T KNOW SOAP WAS ONLY FOR THE BLACK PIECE, BUT I KNOW NOW :)
It is not explained very well. I am glad it helped.
Thank you brother. Very helpful. I hand washed with soap cause I didn't find the VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO, but it won't happen again 🤣💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I had the same issue. I am glad to be able to share.
Just assembled mine and was wondering how you turn the soap off. Thanks.✌️😎
It is not very intuitive. Glad I was able to help.
Just bought one and was disappointed to find nothing in the owners manual about that. Thanks for the video.
You are welcome.
Thanks, I was tearing my hair out trying to figure this out. And I really need to keep the hair I have 😂. Worked great!
Glad I could help!
Thanks so much. Just bought mine and there is no information about soap dispensing. Thank you soooo much!!!!
Glad it was helpful!

Yes, full strength. It only adds a little at a time.
Thank you Sir!! Absolutely no info in the instructions on what you just showed us! Thanks again! What soap are you using

Can you use the detergent tank with a surface washer attachment?
Yes, liquid detergent.
Nice! I will give that a try!
👍

Simple Green is THE way to go.
Thanks . It'll only dispense soap with the small black nozzle??
It sprays water at low pressure and mixes in a small amount of soap with it.
Thank you for the explanation Sir.
I am just glad I am not the only one who couldn't figure it out.
Thanks for the info , appreciate it
Hope it helps.
what are the color nozzles used for? REd blue yellow green white?
They are the different angles of the water spray. The angles are written on the nozzle holder.
@@ShopRamblings what colors are the best to use for glass and for cleaning cars and for siding on the house?
I use the green 25⁰ nozzle most of the ones that came with the machine. I have a turbo nozzle I bought that I also use a lot. amzn.to/4g3tjwi

Sorry. It was just a quick spur of the moment video.
Never, ever put your finger over the end of the nozzle.
