I made these tonight and ended up cooking them for 26 minutes and then let them rest about 5-6 min and they were delisted. I did 2 large breasts. Wonderful!! I will sure make again.
As always! We appreciate you John for doing this like it’s your profession! You’re the first YT source I link everyone to , after I do my best to inform them that the Ninja is a must!
Just tried this wonderful recipe, was moist cooked perfect in 25mins , only change I marinated chix in zip lock bag over nite. And used the unused portion dressing on salad .thanks for all your fantastic videos
I do a panko chicken in the ninja foodi that has a bit of a process to it. the end result is ranch dressing on the side as a dip. Why not simplify the process. I will definitely give this try. Thank you, John! You're my go to ninja foodi guru. keep them coming.
@@JohnSanders yup... there's an English/US store in Cologne 20 mins away but they don't stock it. Hidden valley dry packs are like $25 on Amazon and a 3 small bottle pack was $30 God I miss Target..
Would you recommend the air fryer lid attachment for Instant Pot or would a dedicated air fryer appliance be worth the buy? Thank you for your help. All the best to you!
John Sanders Thank you for your time and reply. When would the air fryer appliance itself be the better option versus just the instant pot air fryer lid? Mostly cooking for two. Thx again.

Hi, your videos are invaluable to me. My unit is expected to be delivered today! I cannot WAIT to try it. I think I will start with this recipe. This is probably a dumb question, so forgive this newbie in advance. Say I used previously sous vided (is that a word) chicken (another video I cannot wait to try), could I still make this chicken, or does it have to be raw? If I can use previously sous vide made chicken, what adjustments would I need to make for the time? Thanks again for your AMAZING videos!
I have never tried that so I am honestly not sure... maybe someone reading this can answer... thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!!!
Hey John....Thanks for another great video....and of course I have a question....if you were going to do this in the ninja foodi grill air crisp basket would you still set the temp at 400 degrees?
I bought chicken today for dumplings. I'll switch to this. My husband doesn't know yet about the foodi. I have a pot roast done for dinner tomorrow, when I bring him home from the airport.
I do not have printable recipes at this time... working on a website but it has honestly gotten put on the back burner... but the oven should be similar but might need more time...a instant read thermometer would be best...thanks for watching!!!
This recipe looks very good and I'm going to try it with boneless skinless chicken thighs. Pull the meats 15 minutes before they are done because the carryover will raise the temperature 15 degrees and that's for even hamburgers.
Thighs should work really well with this recipe, let us know how they turn out...the carry over does depend on the thickness or size of the item being cooked but it does continue for awhile after cooking....thanks and thanks for watching!
Whats ranch dressing? I looked in the supermarket the other day and the only stuff from the USA I could find was the Paul Newman ranch dressing, which is a salad dressing, is it the same? I tried this 2 nites ago. Had a couple issues. I didn’t spray the air fry basket so it’s stuck to the bottom. Also it tasted like he could’ve used way more seasoning and this was an experiment for me so I didn’t use any seasoning at all.
I usually try to add a lot of the seasoning at the table instead of during cooking time...I think or works really well with some recipes and certain seasonings... thanks for trying the recipe and sharing you're results!!!
I just saw a video on chicken breasts. He says, "NEVER EVER" Wash chicken. I searched online on this one. What are your thoughts on washing/or not. Seems the cooking will kill all bacteria/salmonella, if cooked over 161°.

Fantastic recipe and super easy. However, 20 minutes was too long at least for my new 8 quart Foodi. The second time I made the recipe, I reduced it to 18 minutes, and it was still a little too long. It was certainly edible though. Also, I'm using large breasts from Costco, so that's not the issue. I think it may be a difference in Foodi models.
