2:00 As a casual player who plays a lot of Bowser, if they're playing with the same mindset that I have, they're not using the down-B up high for more damage, they're using it for the same reason I use down-aerials (and occasionally down-B): to get back to the stage quickly and "safely." It's driven by fear of navigating down to the stage properly, as well as fear of being too close to the upper blast zone.

2:00 As a casual player who plays a lot of Bowser, if they're playing with the same mindset that I have, they're not using the down-B up high for more damage, they're using it for the same reason I use down-aerials (and occasionally down-B): to get back to the stage quickly and "safely." It's driven by fear of navigating down to the stage properly, as well as fear of being too close to the upper blast zone.
