My last job we did turbine housings for our turbo line. End float was typically 0.017"/0.019". These where 62mm to 67mm range. We just used one housing and bore to suit impeller size and profile.
Awesome review... Answered all my questions and then some. When I get rid of my s480, I think this will be my new whirlybird of choice. Can't wait to see what the new combo does. Love your Camaro... Had a back haved 67 back in the day. One of many I should have NEVER let go. Wish my crystal ball would have worked better.
Just to reinforce your video. I have their 70/65 on my tbss and it is daily driven. It has been on my truck for over 3 years as a daily...ZERO ISSUES with it. I just bought a 78/75 from on3 to upgrade my current set up. Engine has somehow gotten bigger here recently and the 70/65 just isnt enough for it now. Great video🤙
I don't have a race car, "BUT" after that review I want a On3 107 turbo. Nice work Jonny.
You could always build a race car around it.
@@nitroustommy I am just wondering how well it would work on my KIA Soul.
You'll need a Precision 144mm to feed the soul...
I don't think you can buy anything that efficient elsewhere for that money. Where you been man
Saving pennys for attempt #7
@@NoNameRacecars I'm saving for #1

Thanks! All good. We’ll be back in the swing soon!
Thanks for the review
I remember asking you for this during the build tune race interview stream. Was worth the wait!
Lol, my bad. I’m incredibly forgetful.
Great video!! Always enjoy watching your channel. Great content
Thanks!
Would you be willing to discuss the timing map .
I've always wondered about this turbo. Thanks for sharing your experience with it.

Thanks! Sometimes your lucky enough to get em back!
I've been seeing people using 5v pressure transducers as map sensors. 60-100psi sensor should be enough
Do you guys not have the capability of maxing this turbo out? Be curious to see what 40+psi would make.
With the SBE, I’ve just never been interested in beating it that hard on the Dyno. But agree, would like to try it
i missed a bunch of videos - damn you youtube!
Thanks bro
Converter hits around what rpm?
