Or a sort of platonic relation with someone who had the same trauma as him like Shinso or maybe Monoma who were used to be misunderstood cause of their quirks. Because Deku was bullied for being quirkless (and whatever the reason given in the manga, it’s not a good reason at all, nothing can justify this kind of thing), Shinso was considered as a villain cause of his quirk and for Monoma, i guess it’s the same and his personality can hide an inferiority complex like Bakugo (even if for Bakugo, it’s more complex than a simple inferiority complex). And by building a sort of platonic relationship for helping villain Deku (as him to testify about their own problems), they can done a big moral on the problem in the quirk and heroic society.
